Staff Selection Commission conduct national level combined matric level exam. SSC conducts the exam every to recruit clerks, Stenographer in different departments of government offices. SSC Combined Matric Level Exam Syllabus: General English: In addition to the testing of candidates’ understanding of the English language and its correct usage, his writing ability would also be tested; questions on paragraph writing/report writing/letter writing etc. may be included. General Studies: Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. SSC Combined Matric Level Exam Eligibility: Age Limit: 18-27 years but relaxable in case of SC/ ST, Departmental Candidates and few such other reserved categories of persons as rules specified by the commission. Education Qualification: Matric from recognised Board or Institute.
