NMAT Exam Pattern

The NMAT by GMAC™ exam has three sections:

  1. Language Skills
  2. Quantitative Skills
  3. Logical Reasoning.

The three sections of the NMAT are individually timed. This means there is sectional cutoff time. You cannot switch between sections in any case.

No Negative Marking – attempt maximum questions!

Test takers must review their answers (within the allotted time) before moving to another section of the exam, as once the candidate closes out of a section, all answers are final.

Section-wise Exam Pattern:

Every test-taker will receive a unique test-paper however all will be of equal difficulty and will be scaled across sections and totals for parity.

NMAT Result

  • The test scores will be declared within a span of 4-5 weeks from the test delivery.
  • Candidates will be notified by email about the availability of scorecard which they can then download from the NMAT account.

Scoring

  • The scores will be equated (normalised) to bring about parity between test-takers.
  • The percentile scores will be calculated after all the test takers have taken their exam(s). This will be the final NMAT result.

The final announcement of NMAT results will take place in the 3rd week of January,2019
