SSC CGL 2019 Exam Information

What is SSC CGL? The Staff Selection Commission conducts the Combined Graduate Level examination. The exam is held to recruit the candidates for Grade B and C category posts. The SSC CGL notification gets released on the official website every year. The SSC CGL posts is for various Government Departments, Ministries, and Offices. The CGL examination is held in 4 tiers. The Tier 1 and 2 examination is being conducted online and Tier 3 and 4 examination is being held offline. The registration process can be done online through the official website. SSC CGL 2018: Released Marks Tier II Exam

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will soon be conducting the Combined Graduate Level (SSC-CGL) Examination for selecting suitable candidates for Group “B” and Group “C” posts in various Ministries/ Dept./Org. in the Government of India. SSC CGL 2019 Registration

The candidates should read the SSC CGL online registration form carefully and then fill all the columns in the application form. The application form can be submitted only through the online mode and the other forms of application will not be accepted. The candidates can alter the information provided on the online application even after the submission of the application. The changes in the application form can be done within the last date of application submission.

The SSC CGL registration process will comprise of the following steps:

Go to the official website of SSC and fill the basic application details using the “SSC CGL apply online” link. Once the above- mentioned step is completed, your Registration ID and Password will be sent to your Mobile phone. Next will be the main registration process which will be divided into Part I and Part II. The candidates must complete their SSC CGL online application within the last date for registration.

Once the application form is completely filled, the candidates must proceed for the application fee payment. Only after the application fee payment is done, the online application form of the candidates will be accepted.

SSC CGL 2019 Exam Pattern

The SSC CGL exam pattern is given for Tier 1 to 4 separately on the official website. The SSC CGL Tier 1 pattern will be Computer-based objective type multiple choice questions, SSC CGL Tier 2 pattern will comprise of Objective type multiple choice questions which will be computer-based questions. The Tier 3 exam will be descriptive paper in Hindi/ English language which will be conducted in pen and paper mode. Finally, Tier4 examination will be of a skill test or computer proficiency test.

SSC CGL 2019 Syllabus

The SSC CGL syllabus will be provided separately for all the 4 tiers. The SSC CGL tier 1 syllabus will contain General Intelligence & Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and English Language & Comprehension topics. The SSC CGL tier 2 syllabus will contain topics from Quantitative Abilities, English Comprehension, Statistics, and General Studies- Finance & Economics. The tier 3 syllabus will have English and Hindi language essays and other descriptive type questions. Lastly, the tier 4 syllabus will comprise of questions for Data Entry Speed Test, Computer Proficiency Test.
