SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2018-19 Released

The Staff Selection Commission has released SSC CGL 2018-19 Tier I result on 20th August 2019. 

Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II) Examination, 2018-19 is tentatively scheduled from 11.09.2019 to 13.09.2019. Qualified candidates will download their Admit Card from the Official website approximately 07 days before the conduct of the Tier-II Exam.

SSC CGL 2019 Exam Information

What is SSC CGL? The Staff Selection Commission will conduct the Combined Graduate Level examination which is the SSC CGL examination each year in order to recruit the candidates for Grade B and C category posts. The SSC CGL notification will be released on the official website each year. The SSC CGL posts will be at various Government Departments, Ministries, and Offices. The CGL examination will be held in 4 stages which will be called as Tiers. The Tier 1 and 2 examinations will be conducted online and the Tier 3 and 4 examinations will be held offline. The whole registration process can be done only through online in the official website of SSC CGL. The candidates should qualify in each stage of the SSC CGL examination in order to go to the next level.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will soon be conducting the Combined Graduate Level (SSC-CGL) Examination for selecting suitable candidates to fill up Group “B” and Group “C” posts in various Ministries/ Dept./Org. in the Government of India. The SSC CGL 2018 Exam will be conducted in four stages: Tier-1 to Tier-4 stage exam.

SSC-CGL 2019 Eligibility Criteria

What is SSC CGL eligibility? The candidates must be aware of the eligibility criteria for SSC CGL examination before applying for the exam. Only the candidates who fulfill the eligibility for SSC CGL will be allowed to appear for the examination. Also, the candidates must be an Indian citizen.

SSC CGL 2019 Registration

The candidates should read the SSC CGL online registration form carefully and then fulfill all the columns in the application form. The application forms are allowed to be submitted only through online and the other forms of application forms will not be accepted. The candidates can alter the information provided on the online application even after the submission of the application but within the last date of application form submission.

The SSC CGL registration process will comprise the following steps:

Go to the official website of SSC and fill the basic application details using the SSC CGL apply online option. Once the above- mentioned step is completed, your Registration ID and Password will be generated to your Mobile phone. Next will be the main registration process which will be divided into Part I and Part II. The candidates must complete their SSC CGL online application within the last date for registration.

Once the application form is completely filled, the candidates must proceed for the application fee payment. Only after the application fee payment is done, the online application form of the candidates will be accepted.

SSC CGL 2019 Exam Pattern

The SSC CGL exam pattern will be given for Tier 1 to 4 separately on the official website. The SSC CGL Tier 1 pattern will be Computer-based objective type multiple choice questions, SSC CGL Tier 2 pattern will comprise of Objective type multiple choice questions which will be computer-based questions. The Tier 3 exam will be descriptive paper in Hindi/ English language which will be conducted in pen and paper mode. Finally, Tier4 examination will be of a skill test or computer proficiency test.

SSC CGL 2019 Syllabus

The SSC CGL syllabus will be provided separately for all the 4 tiers. The SSC CGL tier 1 syllabus will contain General Intelligence & Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and English Language & Comprehension topics. The SSC CGL tier 2 syllabus will contain topics from Quantitative Abilities, English Comprehension, Statistics, and General Studies- Finance & Economics. The tier 3 syllabus will have English and Hindi language essays and other descriptive type questions. Lastly, the tier 4 syllabus will comprise of questions for Data Entry Speed Test, Computer Proficiency Test.

SSC CGL 2019 Admit Card

The SSC CGL admit card will be available only on the official website. The admit card will be available only a few days prior to the examination. The SSC CGL admitcard can be downloaded only after the admit card is released on the official website. The SSC CGL admit card will be available for each Tier separately. The SSC CGL admit card download option will be available on the website so that the candidates can download it using the link.

Following is the steps to download the SSC CGL admit card:

  2. Click on the link provided on the website to download the SSC CGL admit card
  3. Provide your Date of Birth and Registration Number and click submit
  4. Your admit card of SSC CGL will be available on the screen.

SSC CGL 2019 Result

The SSC CGL result will be announced on the official website. The SSC CGL tier 1 result and SSC CGL tier 2 result will be announced separately. The cut off marks will be declared after the results are announced. The SSC CGL results can be viewed only on the official website after the result publication.
