SSC CGL 2019 Exam Information
What is SSC CGL? The Staff Selection Commission conducts the Combined Graduate Level examination. The exam is held to recruit the candidates for Grade B and C category posts. The SSC CGL notification gets released on the official website every year. The SSC CGL posts is for various Government Departments, Ministries, and Offices. The CGL examination is held in 4 tiers. The Tier 1 and 2 examination is being conducted online and Tier 3 and 4 examination is being held offline. The registration process can be done online through the official website. The candidates must qualify in each stage of the SSC CGL in order to go to the next level.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will soon be conducting the Combined Graduate Level (SSC-CGL) Examination for selecting suitable candidates for Group “B” and Group “C” posts in various Ministries/ Dept./Org. in the Government of India. The SSC CGL 2019 Exam will be conducted in four stages: Tier-1 to Tier-4 stage exam.

SSC CGL 2019 Eligibility Criteria
What is SSC CGL eligibility? The candidates must check the eligibility criteria for SSC CGL examination before applying for the exam. Only the candidates who fulfill the eligibility for SSC CGL will be allowed to appear for the examination. Also, the candidates must be an Indian citizen.

The candidates must have a graduation degree from any recognized university/ institution. The educational qualification will vary for each post as mentioned below:

The candidates appearing for the final year examination of the graduation can also apply for the SSC CGL examination and they must have achieved the required educational qualification on or before 01/ 08/ 2019.
SSC CGL 2019 Registration
The candidates should read the SSC CGL online registration form carefully and then fill all the columns in the application form. The application form can be submitted only through the online mode and the other forms of application will not be accepted. The candidates can alter the information provided on the online application even after the submission of the application. The changes in the application form can be done within the last date of application submission.
The SSC CGL registration process will comprise of the following steps:
Go to the official website of SSC and fill the basic application details using the “SSC CGL apply online” link. Once the above- mentioned step is completed, your Registration ID and Password will be sent to your Mobile phone. Next will be the main registration process which will be divided into Part I and Part II. The candidates must complete their SSC CGL online application within the last date for registration.
Once the application form is completely filled, the candidates must proceed for the application fee payment. Only after the application fee payment is done, the online application form of the candidates will be accepted.
SSC CGL 2019 Exam Pattern
The SSC CGL exam pattern is given for Tier 1 to 4 separately on the official website. The SSC CGL Tier 1 pattern will be Computer-based objective type multiple choice questions, SSC CGL Tier 2 pattern will comprise of Objective type multiple choice questions which will be computer-based questions. The Tier 3 exam will be descriptive paper in Hindi/ English language which will be conducted in pen and paper mode. Finally, Tier4 examination will be of a skill test or computer proficiency test.
SSC CGL 2019 Syllabus
The SSC CGL syllabus will be provided separately for all the 4 tiers. The SSC CGL tier 1 syllabus will contain General Intelligence & Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and English Language & Comprehension topics. The SSC CGL tier 2 syllabus will contain topics from Quantitative Abilities, English Comprehension, Statistics, and General Studies- Finance & Economics. The tier 3 syllabus will have English and Hindi language essays and other descriptive type questions. Lastly, the tier 4 syllabus will comprise of questions for Data Entry Speed Test, Computer Proficiency Test.
SSC CGL 2019 Admit Card
The SSC CGL admit card will be available only on the official website. It will be available only a few days prior to the examination. The SSC CGL admit card downloading option will be available on the website so that the candidates can download it using the link.
Following is the steps to download the SSC CGL admit card:
- Visit the official website of SSC of your region
- Click on the link provided on the website to download the SSC CGL admit card
- Provide your Date of Birth and Registration Number and click submit
- Your admit card of SSC CGL will be available on the screen.
SSC CGL 2019 Result
The SSC CGL result will be announced on the official website. The SSC CGL tier 1 result and SSC CGL tier 2 result will be announced separately. The cut off marks will be declared after the results are announced. The SSC CGL results can be viewed only on the official website after the result publication. The candidates can view the result by providing the required details on the result link.

The cutoffs expressed here are aggregate of Tier-I and Tier-II for qualification to Tier-III of the CGL exam 2017. While estimating the expected cutoff for 2019, this can be used as a rough guide.
