SNAP 2019 Exam Information

What is SNAP?

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is an All-India B-School entrance test. It is administered by Symbiosis International University (Deemed to be). SNAP Test scores determine admission to the 15 institutes at Symbiosis that offer post-graduate courses in management. There are a total of 1,867 seats across the programmes.

SNAP Exam 2019

SNAP 2019 is a two-hour online examination. It will be conducted on 15th December 2019 from 2:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m

SNAP registration has begun on the official website, snaptest.org from the 28th of August. Symbiosis B-School aspirants can register for SNAP before the last date, 25th of November.

SNAP 2019 Exam Date

Symbiosis International Deemed University is a famous college is Pune, Maharashtra. The university has 28 institutes under their guidance and the locations are spread across Bengaluru, Nasik, Noida, Pune and Hyderabad. The university has variety of courses for various levels, undergrad, postgrad and researches.

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a national level, compulsory test that is a criterion for admissions into any symbiosis institutes. Any student who wishes to be a part of the MBA/Msc. (ss)/Msc. (CA) has to attend this test. The test has to be paid for and this is not included in the course fees once selected.

SNAP 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) online test is mandatory for the candidates who aspire to join MBA/ MSc (CA) /MSc (SS) programmes that are offered by institutes of Symbiosis International University.  Symbiosis International University (SIU) defines the eligibility criteria and interested applicants should note the below eligibility criteria:-

  1. Candidates must have the Bachelor’s Degree with minimum qualifying marks. The qualifying marks for general candidate is 50% marks and for reserved category candidates must have 45% marks.
  2. There is no-age limit to apply for the Symbiosis National Aptitude online test.
  3. Foreign Nationals /PIO/OCI/NRI are also eligible to apply but they need to obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

However, applicant should note that just meeting the eligibility criteria does not ensure the admission to the institute. Applicants would need to appear for the entrance examination and would need to crack with the minimum cut off marks. The minimum cut off marks are decided by the Institute for the selection process of the candidates. The eligibility will make the applicant apply and appear for the written examination.

Registrations for SNAP have been opened from the 28th of August and will continue till the 26th of November. Applications must take care not to register and pay both before the 26th of November.

How to apply for SNAP 2019?

Steps for SNAP 2019 Application Process:

  • Register for SNAP Test
  1. Fill the registration form part I (Here you will be asked for phone number/email id etc.)
  2. An automatically generated OTP will be sent to your registered number.
  3. Enter OTP & validate the mobile number.
  4. Verify email id submitted by you.
  • Make Payment for SNAP Test

Pay the SNAP test fee. The candidate may pay through:

  1. Billdesk Payment Gateway
  2. Easebuzz Payment Gateway
  3. Indian Bank Payment Gateway
  4. Demand Draft.*

Note: The DD should reach the Symbiosis Test Secretariat by 5:00 pm on November 25, 2019

SNAP 2019 Syllabus

SNAP 2019 exam Syllabus is not pre-defined by Symbiosis International University, but it is grounded on the guidelines and current structure of SNAP exam. Past tendencies disclose that SNAP exam syllabus and pattern overall tests the candidate on the four test sections.

SNAP 2019 Exam on December 15, 2019 will be of 120 min duration computer based online exam. It covers the sectional test composition, number of questions, type of questions, important topics, scoring pattern in SNAP Test.

SNAP 2019 Admit Card

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is a national level entrance examination conducted by the symbiosis International University (deemed). This test is held for the admissions to the MBA/M.sc (CA or SS) courses offered by the university. The examination is conducted only once in a year and is in a computer test format. SNAP is conducted during the second or third week of December every year.

SNAP Cutoff

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, also commonly known as SNAP is a national level management entrance exam, monitored by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to its 15 institutes all over India offering management programs. SNAP 2019 was an online exam with duration of two hours. The total number of seats for the Post Graduate Management program through SNAP scores is around 1,867. SNAP 2019 was successfully conducted on December 16 between 2 PM to 4 PM.

SNAP 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

Symbiosis International prescribes the SNAP 2019 eligibility criteria. According to the SNAP eligibility criteria 2019, candidates should meet the following requirements-

A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized college/university with at least 50 per cent aggregate marks.

Scheduled caste/scheduled tribe category candidates should score a minimum of 45 per cent in their graduation from any recognized institute across disciplines.

Candidates who have obtained foreign degrees/qualifications should get it verified from AIU before applying for admission to any program under Symbiosis University.

The final year graduation students are eligible too to apply for SNAP exam. However, they must complete their bachelor’s degree with the required aggregate percentage or equivalent CGPA during admission.
