SNAP 2018 Exam Information

What is SNAP?

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is an All-India B-School entrance test. It is administered by Symbiosis International University (Deemed to be). SNAP Test scores determine admission to the 15 institutes at Symbiosis that offer post-graduate courses in management. There are a total of 1,867 seats across the programmes.

SNAP Exam 2018

SNAP 2018 is a two-hour online examination. It will be conducted on 16th December 2018 from 2:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m

SNAP registration has begun on the official website, snaptest.org from the 28th of August. Symbiosis B-School aspirants can register for SNAP before the last date, 26th of November.

SNAP 2018 Eligibility Criteria

A Graduate from any recognised University [minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)]. Even a degree from a statutorily is applicable.

Certain programmes which require a specific subject specialisation need to be checked for eligibility as mentioned by the respective Institute that is offering the same.

A candidate with a qualifying degree from a Foreign University must obtain a certificate of equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Without the AIU verification, foreign university graduates will not be eligible to SIU PG courses.

SNAP 2018 Registration

Registrations for SNAP have been opened from the 28th of August and will continue till the 26th of November. Applications must take care not to register and pay both before the 26th of November.

How to apply for SNAP 2018?

Steps for SNAP 2018 Application Process:

  • Register for SNAP Test
  1. Fill the registration form part I (Here you will be asked for phone number/email id etc.)
  2. An automatically generated OTP will be sent to your registered number.
  3. Enter OTP & validate the mobile number.
  4. Verify email id submitted by you.
  • Make Payment for SNAP Test

Pay the SNAP test fee. The candidate may pay through:

  1. Billdesk Payment Gateway
  2. Easebuzz Payment Gateway
  3. Indian Bank Payment Gateway
  4. Demand Draft.*

Note: The DD should reach the Symbiosis Test Secretariat by 5:00 pm on November 26, 2018

SNAP 2018 Exam Pattern

The SNAP 2018 will have 3 sections, i.e., English, Quant, Logical Reasoning and Current Affairs. The test is out of a total of 150 marks. The detailed breakup is as given below:

SNAP 2018 Syllabus

SNAP 2018 exam Syllabus is not pre-defined by Symbiosis International University, but it is grounded on the guidelines and current structure of SNAP exam. Past tendencies disclose that SNAP exam syllabus and pattern overall tests the candidate on the four test sections.

SNAP 2018 Result

  • SNAP 2018 Result will only be declared in online mode, tentatively in the second week of Jan.
  • To view result, candidates will need to log in using SNAP ID and Password.
  • Candidates can check their SNAP scores that will be declared section-wise, in scaled format (normalised).
  • Each of the 15 participating institutes will shortlist candidates based on the cutoff scores arrived at by them.
  • Candidates that are shortlisted post the SNAP test will be called for the General Exercise (GE), Personal Introduction (PI), and Writing Ability Test (WAT).

The SNAP Scorecard will give the candidate the following details:

SNAP Cutoff

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, also commonly known as SNAP is a national level management entrance exam, monitored by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to its 15 institutes all over India offering management programs. SNAP 2018 was an online exam with duration of two hours. The total number of seats for the Post Graduate Management program through SNAP scores is around 1,867. SNAP 2018 was successfully conducted on December 16 between 2 PM to 4 PM.

SNAP 2018 Eligibility Criteria:

Symbiosis International prescribes the SNAP 2018 eligibility criteria. According to the SNAP eligibility criteria 2018, candidates should meet the following requirements-

A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized college/university with at least 50 per cent aggregate marks.

Scheduled caste/scheduled tribe category candidates should score a minimum of 45 per cent in their graduation from any recognized institute across disciplines.

Candidates who have obtained foreign degrees/qualifications should get it verified from AIU before applying for admission to any program under Symbiosis University.

The final year graduation students are eligible too to apply for SNAP exam. However, they must complete their bachelor’s degree with the required aggregate percentage or equivalent CGPA during admission.

SNAP 2018 Cutoff:

The cutoff of SNAP 2018 is the minimum score or percentile that a candidate requires to get shortlisted for the selection process. There are 15 participating institutes of SIU that accept the SNAP score for their admission procedure. Each institute prescribes a different cutoff on basis of their admission requirements.
