West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination board is a state-government controlled centralized test. It is held for the admission to many private and governmental medical and engineering institutions in West Bengal. The examination is for the entrance to graduation after the 12th grade. The exam is conducted annually and is a gateway for admitting individuals into various undergraduate engineering and pharmacy programs. For 2019, the review is scheduled for April 2019. The application for the study will be received through online only.
The government of West Bengal constituted west Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Board (WBJEEB) in the year 1962. The board has been awarded the status of the Statutory body and is empowered to conduct frequent, combined, competitive, entrance examinations for admission to the undergraduate professional and vocational courses in any university in the state of Bengal. It has always been directed towards enhancement of transparency through useful state-of-the-art technology. It is a prestigious test, and approximately 300,000 candidates take the examination annually, and it has been increasing. WBJEE 2020 Exam Date
The entrance date of exam has been announced by the exam conducting body of WBJEE, which will be on 19th May 2019. The WBJEE exam is usually held in two shifts – Morning (Paper 1) and Afternoon (Paper 2).

WBJEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The board has defined the eligibility criteria for the WBJEE exam and candidates who wish to appear for the exam must be aware of the eligibility criteria. West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has only a few eligibility criteria which differs from the course to course. Candidates should proceed to submit the application form only if they meet the eligibility criteria for the entrance exam. WBJEE has laid the strict policy in verification of the candidates. There will be two papers in WBJEE 2019 which are paper 1 for mathematics and paper 2 for physics and chemistry combined. There is no limit to the number of attempts for the WBJEE exam.
Candidates must check the following eligibility criteria:-
- Candidate should be above 17 years of age though there is no upper age limit. There is an upper age limit for admission in Marine Engineering Course which is 25 years.
- Candidate should have born before 31st December 2002 to be eligible for the WBJEE 2019 entrance exam.
- Candidate should be a citizen of India and can be from any state of India.
- Candidates will be treated as the domicile of West Bengal who is residing in West Bengal since last ten years or whose parents have the permanent address within the state of West Bengal.

WBJEE 2020 Registration
Candidates are required to read the instructions on the official website carefully before filling the application form. Once the application is submitted, it would be considered as final and treated like the candidate agrees to all the terms and conditions given by the board. The conducting authority holds right to reject the application if any information is found misfit as per the instructions.
There is no printed application form for this entrance examination. Candidates must ensure to fill the original application form from the official website.
