SSC CHSL 2019 Exam Information

SSC (Staff Selection Commission) is one of the most desirable organizations for Government exams in the country. Each year numerous vacancies will be filled by SSC in various Government Departments in India. SSC is the chief Government Organization which offers employment to lakhs of candidates in India. The SSC CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) examination will be conducted each year for recruitment in different Departments/ Ministries/ Organizations of the Government of India. The SSC conducts the Combined Higher Secondary Level examination for various posts like Data Entry Operator (DEO), Postal Assistants/ Sorting Assistants (PA/ SA), Court Clerk and Lower Divisional Clerk. The SSC CHSL recruitment 2019 will be announced on the official notification each year.


The candidates should know about the SSC CHSL exam dates in order to prepare for the examination accordingly. The candidates must complete their application process within the last date of completion. Following are the important dates for the SSC CHSL exam:

SSC CHSL Eligibility

The SSC CHSL eligibility criteria is a must factor in order to get qualified to appear for the examination. Following is the necessary CHSL SSC eligibility that the candidates willing to apply for the exam must fulfill:

Age limit:

The candidates must be 18 -27 years of age as on 01/ 08/ 201i.e the candidates must not be born before 02/ 08/ 1992 and not later than 01/ 08/ 2001.

Educational qualification:

For the posts of JSA/ LDC/ DEO/ PA, SA the candidates should have passed class 12 examination from any recognized university or board. For the posts of Auditor General of India (C& AG) and Data Entry Operator, the candidates should have passed class 12 in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from any recognized board or equivalent.

It is also necessary that the candidates should be a citizen of India.

SSC CHSL Registration

The candidates should go through the SSC CHSL registration form carefully and then fulfill all the details asked for in the CHSL application form. The application forms will be accepted only through online and the other forms of application forms will not be accepted. The candidates can alter the information provided on the online application even after the submission of the application form but within the last date of the application form submission.

The SSC CHSL online registration process will consist of the following steps: Go to the official SSC website and fill the basic application details using the SSC CHSL online application option. Once the above- mentioned step is completed, your Registration ID and Password will be generated to mobile phone and Email id. Next will be the main registration process which will be divided into SSC CHSL apply online part 1 registration and SSC CHSL apply online Part II registration. The candidates must complete their registration within the last date for registration.

Once the SSC CHSL online apply form is filled, the candidates should proceed to the application fee payment. Only after the application fee payment is over, the SSC CHSL online application form of the candidates will be accepted.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern

The SSC CHSL examination will be held in 3 Tiers. The candidates must be aware of the SSC CHSL 2019 exam pattern by visiting the official website. The candidates must qualify in each stage of the examination in order to proceed to the next stage.

The Tier 1 exam pattern will be conducted as Computer-based with objective type multiple choice questions, SSC CHSL Tier 2 pattern will comprise of descriptive paper in Hindi/ English language and it will be conducted in pen and paper mode. Finally, Tier 3 examination will be of a skill test or computer proficiency test.

SSC CHSL Admit Card

Each candidate who registers for SSC CHSL exam 2019 within the specified time will be assigned an SSC CHSL admit card which can be downloaded from the SSC official website. The admit card will be available only a few days prior to the examination. The SSC CHSL admit card can be downloaded only after the admit card is released on the official website of SSC. The admit card will be available for each Tier separately. The SSC CHSL admit card download option will be available on the website so that the candidates can download it using the link provided.
