Welcome to the PaGaLGuY B-school Rankings 2009 !

Which MBA colleges does the best talent in India prefer to study in most? How do freshers and people with work experience differently think about B-schools? Which MBA institutes are preferred most by Women and why? Questions such as these piqued our interest while designing the second edition of the ratings of India's Most Preferred B-schools.

Traditionally, B-schools rankings have been trying to tell us which MBA programs we should be looking at in the coming admissions season. However, none of them have succeeded in capturing the order of business schools that Indians actually want to study at, despite what these rankings advise.

We thus decided to place the power of ranking India's business schools in the hands of the people in an unbiased manner. Throughout September and October 2008, PaGaLGuY.com got as many as 5,960 MBA students, aspirants, alumni, recruiters and academicians to compare 84 of India's B-schools on our innovative CommunityRank model and here we are, with the most credible and accurate list of India's Most Preferred B-schools for the 2008-09 admission season.
