IIT Delhi Placements

IIT Delhi, one of the famous engineering institutes in the country’s capital, has success stories of students being placed in their dream companies. It is a combined effort of the students and the institute’s management as well as faculty members. They have been able to achieve pretty high rates of placement success through the effort. 

According to the batch report of 2018, the students graduating in 2019 received 900 job offers. Among them, 750 of them were recruited in the company of their choice. It has been observed that the selections of students have increased by 22% this year in IIT Delhi. There has also been an increase in the number of participating companies this year.

The highest CTC offered to the students was 1.4 crore and the average salary came to 16 lakhs per annum. In this year there is also an increase in recruitment of students belonging from core engineering courses like Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering. Demand was also expressed in recruiting students in advanced sectors like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Stochastic Modelling and Predictive Analysis.

The highest recruitment occurred in Information Technology and Technical sector. Job offers were also made in Analytics and Consulting. Over 350 companies showed interest and participated in the placement drive. 160 PPOs were bagged by the students. Some of the popular brands that participated in the placement drive were Uber, Amazon, Flipkart, Google, Deloitte, Zomato and many others.
