The first phase of IIT Delhi Placements for 2023 concluded on December 15, resulting in a remarkable achievement of over 1300 job offers, of which 1150 were unique offers. This year saw a 20% increase in offers compared to the previous year, with students also securing 30 international offers. The 2022-23 batch at IIT Delhi received 260 pre-placement offers, with the highest international package standing at INR 2 Crores Per Annum (CPA) and the highest domestic package at INR 1 CPA. Notably, approximately 50 students received salary packages exceeding INR 1 CPA. The top recruiting sectors included IT/Software, Finance, Core Engineering, Technology & Analytics, with participation from around 400 recruiters offering a total of 800 job profiles.
In the realm of IIT Delhi MBA Placements for 2023, the achievement was 100% placements, with the highest package reaching INR 41.13 LPA, while the average package stood at INR 25.82 LPA.
For IIT Delhi MBA Summer Internship Placements in 2024, the accomplishment was also 100% internship placements. The highest stipend offered was INR 4.04 Lakhs per month, with an average stipend of INR 2.63 Lakhs per month for the MBA batch.

The class of 2023 secured an impressive total of 260 pre-placement offers. The institute conducted its placement drive for this batch, resulting in a remarkable 1300 job offers being extended, with over 1150 students being uniquely selected. This represents a significant 20% increase in the number of offers compared to the previous year.
More than 400 national and international recruiters were present, offering a diverse range of 800 job profiles across various domains. The institute exceeded its own expectations as students secured over 1300 job offers during the initial phase of placements.
A majority of students opted for positions in their respective technical core areas, with approximately 29% of students receiving offers in their specialised fields. The international outreach was notable, with over 30 students earning international selections, spanning countries such as Hong Kong, Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Furthermore, 10 students chose to take advantage of the deferred placements option, allowing them to access placement services for up to 2 years.
Among the top recruiters present on campus were notable names such as American Express, Bajaj Auto, Boston Consulting Group, Enphase Solar Energy, Intel, Praxis Global Alliance, and others.
The institute also witnessed a substantial increase in pre-placement offers, with over 260 PPOs received, surpassing the previous year’s total of 230.
The effort of more than 400 national and international recruiters resulted in a diverse array of over 800 job profiles being offered across various domains.
It’s worth noting that the highest CTC offered during these placements reached an impressive INR 2 LPA.
