Metro Line: The Hauz Khas metro station is the closest to IIT Delhi (Yellow Line). The metro station is 1.2 kilometers from the main gate of IIT. The main campus is easily accessible by car or bus. If you are traveling by car, the minimum fare charged by the driver is INR 20, and if you are traveling by bus, take bus no. 764.
- The IIT gate is the closest bus stop to IIT Delhi. You can take an AC bus or a regular bus; the prices for both vary depending on the amenities provided. Travel only on DTC (Delhi Transport Corporation) buses because private buses tend to stop for long periods of time at each stop in order to pick up more passengers.
