XAT 2026 Application Form – Registration Process and Fees

The XAT 2026 application form submission window is open until December 5, 2025. Candidates must register on the official XAT website and create an account to fill and submit their application.

How to Apply for XAT 2026: Step-by-Step Guide

1. Registration

Visit the official website: xatonline.in

Click on the ‘Registration’ tab

Fill in your name, phone number, email ID, password, and captcha

A XAT ID and registration confirmation link will be sent to your verified email

Click the link to confirm your registration

2. Filling the XAT Application Form

Log in using your registered email ID and password

Complete the form by entering:

• Personal details

• Academic qualifications

• Work experience (if any)

• Upload:

  • Recent passport-size photo (less than 1 MB)

  • Scanned signature (less than 1 MB)

  • Photo ID proof

• Select preferred test cities for the exam center

• Review the form and accept the declaration

3. Fee Payment

General/Reserved Category Fee: ₹2,200

Additional fee for XLRI programs: ₹200

Payment Mode:

• Debit/Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, Maestro)

Documents Required for XAT 2026 Registration

You will need the following documents for reference while filling the form. Only the photograph, signature, and photo ID need to be uploaded:

• Class 10 and 12 mark sheets

• Graduation mark sheet

• Valid email ID and mobile number

• Proof of date of birth

• Residential address proof

• Aadhaar card

XAT 2026 Registration: Important Guidelines

While filling the XAT 2026 application form, candidates must keep the following points in mind:

• You can choose up to six preferred cities for the XAT exam center.

• Once selected, test city choices cannot be modified, so choose carefully.

• Ensure that the application form is submitted within the official registration dates; late submissions will not be accepted.

• The form submission will only be considered complete after successful fee payment.

• You are not required to pay the fee on the same day as form filling, but payment must be made before the last date, otherwise the form will be rejected.

• After a successful transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated. If the e-Receipt is not generated, it means the payment failed.

• In case of payment failure, log in again and repeat the payment process.

• Print the e-Receipt and the filled-in application form for your records. If these are not generated, the transaction might not have been successful.

• A facility to download or print the application form with payment details is available on the official website.

• Keep a copy of the payment confirmation page for any future communication with the XAT office.

• For best experience and smooth submission, use Internet Explorer (version 11+), Mozilla Firefox (version 50–61), or Google Chrome (version 50–69) to fill the form.
