IIM Indore Admission 2026

• IPMAT Indore 2026 registration deadline has been extended until March 17 for admission to the IPM program. Interested candidates can apply through iimidr.ac.in. The IPMAT exam is scheduled to be held on May 4, 2026.

• IIM Indore, in collaboration with IIT Indore, is offering an MS in Data Science & Management program. Applications for the academic year 2026–27 will be open from February 17 to June 1, 2026. The entrance test (DMAT) is scheduled for March 29 and June 7, 2026.

• The Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2026 have been announced, listing the world’s top business schools. IIM Indore has secured the 62nd position globally for its MBA program, placing it among the top 100 institutions worldwide.

About IIM Indore

The Indian Institute of Management Indore, commonly known as IIM Indore, is a leading management institute in India, established in 1996. In 2025, the institute was ranked 8th by NIRF for its MBA programme. The flagship MBA (PGP) is a two-year full-time programme. In addition, IIM Indore offers the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) and a one-year Executive MBA (EMBA) designed for working professionals.

IIM Indore Admission 2026 to the MBA and Executive MBA programmes is based on a composite score that includes CAT/GMAT/GRE scores, academic performance, gender diversity, work experience, Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI). Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks to be eligible for admission to the MBA programme. From the 2026–28 academic session, the weightage of Class XII marks has been increased to 25% (from 10%) for PI shortlisting, while the Class X weightage remains unchanged at 10%.

IIM Indore recorded 100% placement for the 2023–25 batch, with participation from over 225 recruiters, including 50 first-time recruiters. The highest package offered was INR 70 LPA, while the median package stood at INR 27 LPA. Nearly 49% of the batch secured roles in Consulting and Finance. IIM Indore Admission 2026

The Indian Institute of Management Indore grants admission to its undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes through national-level entrance examinations, followed by a Personal Interview.

• IPM Admission: Selection to the IPM programme is based on IPMAT scores, which assess aptitude, logical reasoning, and proficiency in English and Mathematics, followed by a Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

• MBA Admission: IIM Indore Admission 2026 to the MBA programme is through CAT/GMAT/GRE scores, followed by WAT and a Personal Interview.

• Executive MBA Admission: Candidates must meet the prescribed eligibility criteria and possess a minimum of five years of work experience.

• Doctoral Programme Admission: Selection is based on scores in CAT/GMAT/GATE/GRE/JRF. Candidates without valid national-level test scores may appear for the Research Aptitude Test (RAT) conducted by IIM Indore, followed by a Personal Interview.

IIM Indore has released its final placement report for 2025, highlighting another strong placement season. According to the institute, the highest package offered was INR 70 LPA, while the average package stood at INR 29.75 LPA.
