About IIM Mumbai

The Indian Institute of Management Mumbai, formerly known as NITIE, was established by the Government of India in 1963. It secured the 9th position in the IIRF 2025 rankings and 6th position in the NIRF 2025 rankings for its MBA program.

IIM Mumbai’s flagship offering is its two-year MBA program, available in three specializations, along with the PGDEX program designed for working professionals. The institute is particularly renowned for its MBA in Operations & Supply Chain Management. The total fee for the MBA program is INR 21.00 Lakhs, which includes a tuition fee of INR 14.00 Lakhs and a caution deposit of INR 50,000. To be eligible for MBA admission, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks.

IIM Mumbai Admissions 2026 to the program is determined by a composite score comprising CAT performance, academic records, personal interview, and work experience. IIM Mumbai assigns 60% weightage to CAT scores, 20% to the personal interview, and 20% to academic performance and work experience combined.

To qualify for the next stage of the selection process, candidates must secure at least 85 percentile overall in CAT, with minimum sectional percentiles of 80 in VARC and LRDI, and 75 in QA.
