SP Jain Placement Report 2019
Being one of the premier business schools in the country, the SP Jain Mumbai Campus attracts big names. Companies like Deloitte, BCG, PWC and Accenture are all regular recruiters who come year after year to SPJIMR in search of new blood.
The average placement percentage record in the last five years (from 2014-19) has been around 76% across all the courses.
As of 2018, SPJIMR has reported a 30% jump in the number of placement participants who have been placed at big-name consulting firms in the final placement process of its postgraduate diploma programmes.
The likes of Deloitte, TCS, Reliance and Accenture have been the top four recruiters for the year. Placements at SP Jain Mumbai for the batch of 2018 were quite successful.
A total of 105 companies visited the campus to recruit students from the institute. The total number of candidates who participated in the placements was 234, and 4 of the students opted out of the campus placement drive to pursue their goals.
SP Jain Placement Process
The Placement process at SP Jain Mumbai consists of two terms:
- Autumn Internships (Aug-Oct)
- Final Placements (after graduation)
In both terms, the following steps are followed:
- The company verifies the candidate’s participation in the placement process.
- Pre-placement talks with company representatives.
- The SPJIMR students begin the application and shortlists are made.
- Group Discussions and personal interviews
