Founded in 1995, the MBA program at IIT Bombay is an integral part of the institution. SJMSOM Mumbai provides a two-year flagship MBA program in management, along with Doctoral Programs in Management. It has been recognized in the rankings, securing the 10th position in NIRF 2023 and the 8th position in IIRF 2023. Additionally, the school offers short-term programs in management for the faculty of technical and management institutions during both the summer and winter seasons.
To gain admission to the Master's program in Management, Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management Mumbai accepts CAT/GMAT scores, as well as TOEFL/IELTS scores to demonstrate English proficiency. For the Doctoral program, applicants must submit an SOP on their research area, and shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The SJMSOM Mumbai CAT Cutoff 2023 for admission to Management courses is 90 percentile.
SJMSOM Mumbai has successfully completed its final placement process for batch 2021-23, with a wide range of opportunities provided by multiple recruiters in sectors such as BFSI, consulting, e-commerce/IT, FMCG/FMCD, conglomerate, and others. The average package offered was INR 28.88 LPA, the median CTC was INR 26.64 LPA, and the highest package increased to INR 54 LPA this year.
