SCMHRD Pune Admission 2023

SCMHRD Pune has opened applications for its Executive MBA Program, and the deadline to register is July 10, 2023.

Recognized as a premier management institute, Symbiosis Centre for Management & Human Resource Development (SCMHRD) is renowned for its full-time residential MBA program. Prospective candidates interested in admission must submit an online SNAP application by November 24 to be considered for SCMHRD’s MBA programs. The MBA course is a two-year full-time program with a seat intake of 180. Alongside the MBA General program, the college also offers MBA-Infrastructure Development and Management (IDM) and MBA-Business Analytics (BA) programs, each with a seat intake of 60. The admission process for SCMHRD’s academic year 2023 has commenced. Selection for admission to the MBA programs at SCMHRD is based on the candidate’s performance in SNAP, Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Exercise, and Personal Interaction (GEPI). The SNAP cutoff for the MBA program is set at 95 percentile. Candidates interested in SCMHRD admission are advised to register for SNAP by November 24, 2022.

Additionally, SCMHRD provides a 30-month Executive MBA program specifically designed for working professionals in and around Pune. The admission process for this program includes a Skype Interview, with the written test being excluded due to the ongoing pandemic. SCMHRD Pune Admission Process

Registration and participation in the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is mandatory for all Indian students. It is important for candidates to make an early decision regarding taking the SNAP once or twice. A valid SNAP score is a prerequisite for admission to the MBA programs offered by SCMHRD.

Step 1 Register for SNAP on http://snaptest.org/ and make the payment of INR 1750/- for each attempt. (For one attempt – INR 1750/-. For two attempts – INR 3500/-)
Step 2 Select the option MBA – SCMHRD in the list of programmes given in the SNAP form. An additional fee of INR 1000/- needs to be paid for the same.
Step 3 Appear for Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP).

SCMHRD MBA Admission 2023

SCMHRD provides a range of MBA programs, including a 2-year General MBA, MBA-Infrastructure Development and Management (IDM), and MBA-Business Analytics (BA). The MBA program has a total of 180 seats, while MBA-IDM and MBA-BA each have 60 seats.

MBA: This is the flagship program at SCMHRD, offering a comprehensive two-year full-time residential course spread across four semesters.

Specializations: The program offers specializations in Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Strategy, Innovation & Management.

MBA (IDM): The IDM program is a unique offering that aims to develop capabilities in managing infrastructure projects effectively.

Specializations: The program focuses on Execution and Finance within the domain of infrastructure development.

MBA (BA): This program is designed for candidates interested in acquiring both conceptual and practical knowledge of Business Analytics, along with a strong understanding of management theory and practice.

For MBA (General):

  • Candidates should have completed their Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
  • Final year candidates can also apply, but they must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in their Graduation (45% for SC/ST).

For MBA (IDM):

  • Candidates should hold a BE/B.Tech/B.Plan degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
  • Candidates with prior work experience are preferred.

For MBA (BA):

  • Candidates should have completed their Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
  • Additionally, they must have a minimum of two years of full-time work experience after graduation.

Key Points:

  • Final year candidates can apply, but they need to secure a minimum of 50% marks in their Graduation (45% for SC/ST).
  • Candidates who have completed their qualification from a foreign university must obtain an equivalence certificate from AIU (Association of Indian Universities).

SCMHRD MBA Selection Criteria

The institute follows a systematic selection process for admissions into its MBA programs, which consists of the following levels:

Level 1: Based on the SNAP score, a list of shortlisted candidates for the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Exercise, and Personal Interaction (GEPI) process will be announced.

Level 2: The shortlisted candidates need to book a slot and participate in the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Exercise, and Personal Interaction (GEPI) process.

Level 3: SCMHRD will publish the final merit list.

It is essential for all candidates to achieve the required marks in the SNAP examination; otherwise, their candidature will be considered nullified. The final selection for all MBA programs is determined based on the SNAP score and the performance in the WAT and GEPI stages.

SNAP Exam Pattern

  • The duration of the SNAP Exam has been reduced from 120 minutes to 60 minutes.
  • It will be a computer-based test.
  • The exam will consist of 5 Special Questions in the Quantitative, Data Interpretation, and Data Sufficiency section.
  • The specific syllabus for the SNAP Exam is not released by SIU and is based on previous years’ patterns.
  • Each correct answer will be awarded one mark, and for each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted as negative marking.

How to Apply for an MBA?

MBA Application Process:

  1. Visit the official SNAP website to register for the exam.
  2. Click on the ‘Register’ button.
  3. Carefully read and understand all the instructions provided.
  4. Accept the Terms and Conditions by clicking on the ‘I Agree’ button.
  5. Fill in all the required details in the application form.
  6. Select your preferred test city.
  7. Click on ‘Save & Continue’ to proceed.
  8. After verification through OTP, you will receive an email and SMS containing your SNAP ID and password.
  9. Use the assigned SNAP ID for all future communications regarding the aptitude test and admission process.
  10. Make the non-refundable SNAP test registration fee payment of INR 1,950/- before the specified deadline.
  11. Once the SNAP results are declared, register for the MBA course using your SNAP ID and password on the SCMHRD website.
  12. Ensure that all the details provided are accurate.
  13. Pay the MBA registration fee of INR 1,000/- via the online payment gateway.
  14. If paying by Demand Draft, submit a Demand Draft of INR 1,750/- from any Nationalized Bank in favor of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.

SCMHRD Executive MBA Admission 2023

The SCMHRD Executive MBA program is designed for working professionals in and around Pune and spans a duration of 30 months. Classes for the program are conducted on weekends, with a duration of 8 hours per day.

SCMHRD Executive MBA Eligibility To be eligible for the SCMHRD Executive MBA program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Completion of graduation with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
  • A minimum of two years of full-time work experience after graduation in a registered firm/company/industry/educational/government/autonomous organization.

How to Apply for Executive MBA?

To apply for the Executive MBA program, please follow the steps below:

  1. Visit the official website of SCMHRD.
  2. Click on “New Users Registration” and enter the necessary information in the online application form.
  3. Carefully read the Terms and Conditions and click on the “I Agree” button to accept them.
  4. Fill in the required details in the online application form under the “Register” tab.
  5. Click on the “Save & Continue” button at the bottom of the page.
  6. On the next screen, choose a password, provide answers to hint questions, and click on the “Submit” button to complete the registration process.
  7. A unique SIUDPGPD ID will be displayed on the next screen.
  8. After successful registration, you will receive an email containing your SIUDPGPD ID and password. These credentials will be used for all future correspondence with Symbiosis International University.
