Q. Is the IIM Udaipur MBA Cut off based on CAT score declared as of now?

Ans. IIM Udaipur has released the sectional as well as the overall cutoff on the basis of CAT score. Except for the general category, the IIM Udaipur cutoff remains same for the batch commencing 2022.

Q. How much is the IIM Udaipur CAP cutoff 2022?

Ans. For general category, IIM Udaipur CAP cutoff 2021 for its admission to MBA course is expected to be 90. Besides this, the cut off for EWS and OBC is likely to be 74 and for SC and ST applicants the CAP Cut off it’s 54 & 40 respectively.

Q. Which college is better for marketing IMT Ghaziabad or IIM Udaipur?

Ans. Udaipur is better for marketing as compared to the IMT Ghaziabad because the batch size of the IIMs is 160 as compared to the IMT Ghaziabad 600. But the highest package offered to students of IIM Udaipur was INR 35.47 LPA & it stood at INR 62 LPA for the IMT Ghaziabad students.

Ans. The Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur provides financial assistance to PhD students in various forms:

  • Students will be eligible for a stipend of INR 30,000 per month in the first year with a 10% annual increment up to a maximum of five years.
  • The Institute also provides a one-time allowance of up to INR 50,000 to purchase a laptop or computer. 
  • Students will be provided a grant to purchase books, research materials, hardware, software, stationery, etc. of INR 50,000 in the first year of the program and INR 25,000 from the second year onwards until the end of the fifth year.

Q. In terms of placement, how is IIM Udaipur for a non-engineer freshman student?

Ans. IIM Udaipur has good placements for an institute with around 10 years of vintage. With AACSB accreditation, the placement scenario is expected to become better. For non-engineer freshmen, it's easier to get marketing, HR and finance roles. For Consulting and Ops/Supply Chain roles, experienced hands get preferred in general.
