Founded in 2011, IIM Udaipur is one of the newer IIMs, yet it has quickly earned global recognition. The institute holds both AACSB and EQUIS accreditations, making it one of only a few Indian B-schools with dual international accreditation.
In the NIRF Rankings 2025, IIM Udaipur secured the 21st position in the Management category, while Outlook ranked it 9th the same year. Admissions across its programs are entrance-based, and applications can be submitted directly via the official IIMU portal.
From the academic year 2026–28, IIM Udaipur will manage its own admission process, moving away from the Common Admission Process (CAP). For the flagship 2-Year MBA, candidates will be evaluated on CAT 2025 scores, followed by a Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). In addition, academic background, work experience, and overall profile will contribute to the final selection, ensuring a holistic assessment.
