PhD Financial Assistance at IIM Udaipur

1. Full Fellowship Package

PhD students receive a complete fellowship that covers:

• Tuition Fees: Waived entirely.

• Accommodation: Single, semi-furnished, air-conditioned hostel accommodation (or equivalent) provided at no charge.

• Living Stipend:

  • ₹37,000 per month for the first two years.

  • ₹40,000 per month upon clearing the comprehensive exam.

  • ₹44,000 per month after the proposal defense.

• Laptop/PC Allowance: One-time allowance of up to ₹50,000.

• Contingency Grant: ₹50,000 in the first year and ₹25,000 annually from the second to the fifth year for research-related expenses.

• Research Grant: Up to ₹1,50,000 for conducting dissertation-related research.

• Conference Funding:

  • ₹20,000 per annum for national conferences/seminars.

2. Executive PhD Program
