From the 2026–28 batch onwards, IIM Udaipur will withdraw from the Common Admission Process (CAP) and conduct its own MBA admissions. Shortlisting will be based on CAT 2025 scores, followed by the Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT).
For MBA programs, admissions are determined by CAT scores, while EMBA admissions consider CAT, GMAT, or GRE scores. Candidates who have not appeared for any management entrance exam are required to take the IIMU Entrance Test to be considered for the EMBA program.
The one-year MBA program admits candidates with valid CAT, GMAT, or GRE scores and a minimum of three years of full-time work experience. For the PhD program, candidates must hold postgraduate qualifications and valid CAT, GMAT, GRE, or NET-JRF scores in relevant disciplines.
