STAGE I: Personal Interview Shortlisting Round

Students are selected based on their CAT scores to appear for Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). CAT exams’ sectional cut off and overall percentile are taken into consideration for shortlisting students.

The table below shows minimum cut-offs of CAT Percentile for respective categories to be called for the next stage:

Stage 2: Final Selection

The final composite score is calculated on the basis of CAT Score, PI or PA (Personal Appearance).

Stage 3: Offer Acceptance

For a limited time the IIM Raipur portal would be opened for students to submit the admission fee of INR 75,000. This is basically a confirmation and acceptance of the admission seat at IIM Raipur. But those who would like to withdraw will be refunded a fee of INR 1000 before registration dates.

IIM Raipur admission criteria for MBA Selection (Foreign Students)

• Students must have a valid score in GMAT of 650 or above.
• They must hold a relevant and justifiable passport.
• Students must have a TOEFL certificate (if required). With an iBT score of 80 an PBT score of 520.
• Upon application submission and thorough evaluation an interview will be conducted through video conferencing.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have scored at least 50% in their bachelor’s degree. The relaxation for different category of students are as follows:

• Women candidates: 45% aggregate
• SC / ST / PwD candidates: 40% aggregate
• Also a work experience of minimum 02 years is mandatory.

IIM Raipur EPGP Selection Criteria

IIM Raipur EPGP Admission Merit list is prepared after 2 phase shortlisting process.

STAGE I: Basic Shortlisting (CS)

• Performance at 10+2 level.
• Performance at graduation level.
• Work experience level
• Diversity Factor for female candidates and for those from non-engineering backgrounds.
• OBC candidates will be given a 10% relaxation in shortlisting as per cut off for general category.
• SC / ST / PWD would be given a 20% relaxation in shortlisting.

STAGE II: Interview Round

• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for the interview round based on CS (shortlisting) score. 
• The candidates would be evaluated on: 
  • Richness of Industry Experience 
  • Communication Skills
  • Leadership Ability
  • Diversity Factor

STAGE III: Final Merit List

Shortlisted students would be considered for admission based on the composite score in CS and interview.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidate applying for IIM Raipur PGPM WE Program should have passed bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 50% marks in any relevant discipline.

Work Experience: A minimum 3 years of work experience is mandatory to be eligible post-qualifying bachelor’s degree exams.

IIM Raipur Selection criteria

• Applicants will be admitted based on their scores in the CAT entrance exam.
• They will be further called for GD and PI.
• An NOC must be arranged for, if selected for admission from the current employer.

Entrance Exam Pattern

The entrance exam is a two hours paper consisting of 60 MCQs divided into the following sections each consisting of 20 questions:

• Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension
• Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning
• Quantitative Aptitude 

IIM Raipur offers EFPM program is designed for working professionals having at least 7 Years of industry experience. The following specialisations are offered under this program. They are Business Policy and Strategy, Economics and Business Environment, Finance and Accounting, Information Technology and System, Marketing Management, Operations Management, and Organisational Behaviour & HRM.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidate should have a master’s degree in any discipline, with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent to be eligible for admission at EFPM program of IIM Raipur.

Key Points: 

• Applicant with a PGP / EPGP / PGPWE from any IIM with a minimum CGPA of 6.0 out of 10 point scale is also eligible.
• CA / ICWA with a degree and CS with B.Com degree with a minimum 60% aggregate or equivalent.
• An Integrated master’s degree in any discipline with 60% marks, obtained in +2 or equivalent.
• Four year / 8 semester B.E. / B.Tech / B.Arch with CGPA of 6.5 out of 10 or equivalent.
• A mandatory work experience of 7 years.

Note: Candidates with a score in PGP / PGPWE / EPGP from IIMs with 6.0 out of 10 point scale (with no ‘F’s and not more than two ‘D’s in the first year) are exempted from submitting entrance test scores.

Selection Criteria:

• Students must have a valid score in either CAT or GRE.
• The final selection will be based on the following miscellaneous factors:

Eligibility Criteria: Students must have a Master’s degree or PGP degree from IIM in any discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade.

• A bachelor’s degree in B.E. / B.Tech./ B.Sc. Engineering / B.Arch with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on a scale of 10 or equivalent.
• Those appearing for final year examination of Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering are also eligible to apply. 
• However, they should complete the requirements before the prescribed date . 
• Age should not be more than 50 years as on June 1, 2021.

Note: Candidates with a score in PGP from IIMs with 6.0 out of 10 point scale are exempted from submitting entrance test scores. Not more than 10 years ago.

IIM Raipur Admission Criteria for PhD Selection:

STAGE I: Entrance Qualification

The students must have qualified either in CAT / GRE / GATE / JRF-UGC / CSIR. The table below shows the minimum Percentile required to be selected for round 2:

*Note: Students who are JRF qualified are directly called for Round 2.

STAGE II: Personal Interview

Students who meet the minimum percentile requirements will be called for a personal interview. Only those who qualify this round will make it to the final merit list.

STAGE III: Final Merit List

The final merit list is based on entrance scores, academic performance, etc. A factor wise percentage is given below:

IIM Raipur PhD Financial Aid

• Scholarships of INR 30,000 Per month are offered in the first and second year of study.
• While INR 35,000 Per month for the third and fourth year are offered.
• An Annual Contingency Grant of INR 40,000 p.a is offered for purchase of books, stationery, journal subscription, professional annual membership fee.
• For laptop purchase, INR 50,000 (one-time grant) is offered. 
• To attend National and International conferences a grant upto INR 1,50,000 during FPM course is also offered.

How to Apply for IIM Raipur PhD

IIM Raipur Ph.D Application form can be filled online after visiting www.iimraipur.ac.in. Fill the application form and submit the application fee of INR 1000. Candidates belonging to NC-OBC, EWS, SC, ST, DAP categories need to pay INR 500.

 The supporting documents required along with the application form are as follows:

• Self-attested copies of mark sheets or transcripts
• Self-attested copies of School and University degrees.
• Percentage conversion certificate from College/University (In case of CGPA/CPA).
• Self-attested Copies of Work Experience Certificate (if any).
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
