KL Business School (KLBS), KL University-Guntur Overview
KL University (KLU) was established in 1980 and KLUBS ( KL University Business School) was established in 2009. The aim of the institute has always remained theoretical as well as a practical implementation of knowledge for better understanding.
The KL Business School offers many management courses on different academic levels such as undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate level. These courses include specializations in management. Integrated courses are also available in the institute.
National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) has placed the institute on the 58th position among other management colleges. The Times of India has ranked the institute 1st in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana state in 2018. Dainik Bhaskar has ranked the KL Business School 10th in the Top 10 B-Schools list. In ABP News ranking, this institute has achieved recognition of being an Outstanding B-School of South in 2018.
78 faculty members of the institute run the institute under the guidance of Dr. M. Kishore Babu, Chairman of the institute. Management courses are studied in different departments. A total of 14 subjects are included in the management category.
KL Business School Courses offered and Fees Structure
KL Business School offers 18 undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate courses for the students. MBA course is offered in subjects like Project Management, Health Care Management, Human Resource Management, Training and Development, Supply Chain Management etc. Integrated BBA+MBA courses are also available for students. BBA course is available in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics etc. Integrated MBA and BBA course include Human Resource Management etc.
All the courses are offered in full-time options with a time period of two to five years. The fee structure of the management courses includes 2.85 lakhs for BBA, 5.15 lakhs for MBA and 9.35 lakhs for BBA+MBA course.
- On UG level, the institute offers full-time four-year management courses in bachelor degree.

KL Business School Admission Process
All the applicants are admitted to the management courses on different academic levels on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying exam. Master of Business Administration course (MBA) candidates requires certain marks in CAT / KLUBSAT exam for entry into the course. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) candidates requires certain marks in University Written Test conducted by the state’s government. PhD candidates also require certain marks in the qualifying exam.
- For admission in full-time BBA course, University Level Test score is considered.
- For admission in full-time MBA course, KLUBSAT score is considered.
- For admission in the full-time integrated course, University Level Test score is considered.
- For admission in full-time PhD course, qualifying exam score is considered.

KL Business School Results and Cut-off
Candidates are selected for admission in a particular course on the basis of the cut-off score. A cut off list is announced after the results of the qualifying exams are out. The cut off decides, which candidates are going to get admitted in a particular course. BBA candidates are required to cross the University Level test score and MBA candidates are required to cross the CAT (Common Admission Test) or KLUBSAT cut off mark.
After crossing the cut off mark, a personal interview round is held. The cut off list is prepared on the basis of the number of participating students, highest scores of the candidates, the number of seats in the institute and difficulty level of the qualifying exam.

The KLBS College is a part of the KL University and thus its students are also considered as the part of its alumni network. The Alumni Association of the institute was established in 1985. The alumni association focuses on maintaining cordial relations between University and alumni.

KL Business School Scholarships
The institute offers many scholarships to the poor and meritorious management students on merit cum mean basis. Students get fee concession on getting a certain score in CAT exam. The students are provided up to 20% off on tuition fee on scoring 60%-85% in CAT or other qualifying exams. Special scholarships are also given to the students belonging to SC, ST and OBC category. Physically challenged and disabled students also get fee concession.
