IIM Nagpur's MBA admission process is set to commence alongside the start of CAT registration. CAT 2023 registration is scheduled to commence on August 2, 2023, and the exam itself is planned for November 26, 2023. The registration fee for CAT 2023 has been increased for all categories. Specifically, for the general category, the fees have been elevated to ₹2,400 from the previous ₹2,300. For candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories, the fee has been raised to ₹1,200 from last year's ₹1,150. Notably, IIM Nagpur Placements for 2023 concluded with an impressive 100% placement record. The average package saw a significant uptick of 10.05% compared to the previous year, standing at INR 16.74 LPA, while the highest package achieved was INR 64 LPA.

Established in 2015, IIM Nagpur is one of the newer additions to the IIM family, with campuses located in Nagpur and Pune. Renowned for its flagship MBA and Executive MBA programs, IIM Nagpur conducts MBA admission through the CAT exam, followed by a Personal Interview round. The CAT cut-off for IIM Nagpur stands at an overall percentile of 90. The MBA fee for IIM Nagpur's 2-year program is INR 18 lakh.

For the batch of 2023, IIM Nagpur's average package reached INR 16.74 LPA, and the highest package offered was INR 64 LPA. In terms of national rankings, IIM Nagpur secured the 43rd position in NIRF 2023 among the top management institutes in India.

In the admissions process for the 2022 batch, a total of 2,849 candidates were selected for the interview stage, with 1,414 ultimately being offered admission, resulting in a conversion rate of nearly 50%. For the general category, candidates called for the interview round were required to have a minimum percentile of 85.15.
