Results for NEET 2024

The results of NEET 2024 will be displayed online. The results will announced in June 2024.

Before the display of the results and answer key will be declared. the candidates will have an option of challenging the answer key against the fees of rupees 1000 per answer. The candidates will have to stay in touch via the website for the declaration of dates of answer keys upload. The answers that have been challenged will be studied and scrutinized by CBSE along with the subject experts.

There will be a window when candidates can challenge the answer key the key will be finalized after the challenge and there will be no change in the final key, however, there is no information given to candidates if the result and challenge have been accepted or declined. All the candidates are advised to remain in touch with the website for downloading of admit cards, answer keys and results.

The result will be hosted on the website www.cbseNEET.nic.in and the merit list will be prepared in accordance with DGHS, MCI, and DCI. The merit list will not be prepared according to the categories.  As soon as the results are declared, candidates are advised to download the results. After the results of been hosted the candidates will have an option to download the results from the website. The candidates are advised to remain in touch with the website in order to know further details of counseling round.

CANDIDATES WILL NOT HAVE AN OPTION OF RE-EVALUATING OR RECHECKING THE ANSWER SHEETS. NO CORRESPONDENCE WILL BE ENTERTAINED IN THIS REGARD.

The reason for not checking and evaluating the answer sheets is because the candidates have been given earlier an opportunity to make the representation on the OMR sheet and also to challenge the answer keys in case of any doubt. There is no human intervention in the grading of OMR sheets and their entirely read by machines and since the software is impartial to all there will not be any mistakes on its part.

The use of the results of NEET should be done for admission to Central or state-approved government institutions for admission purposes only. However, the rules of institutions should be followed. the record of the NEET test is preserved until 60 days of the examinations results.

NEET UG 2024 Counselling:

Online counselling will be available on Medical Counselling committee website and will be conducted by MCC of DGHS. The counselling authorities will evaluate and prepare counselling merit list in the selected categories which were furnished by candidates at the time of form filling. The CBSE will not make any changes in data after that. Post declaration of the result no change in the form will be entertained. The candidates will register according to their category that was filled during submission of application form, for counselling. Based on state category the merit list will be prepared by the counselling committee. CBSE will have no role in the domicile which would be prepared according to the state concerned.
