NEET UG Exam Pattern 2024

The entrance examination cell contains 1 paper in all languages having about 180 objective questions. There will be 4 options for each question. The questions will be based on physics chemistry biology (botany and zoology). The candidate is required to answer on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using ballpoint pen provided by the examination center only. Under no circumstances will candidate use his own pen. The duration of the test will be 3 hours.

NEET UG 2024 Exam Preparation methods

NEET exam is the first step towards a medical career and one of the toughest examinations in India. Due to a large number of applicants the cut off of the exam usually runs high. Certain points need to be considered while preparing for this exam:

  1. Candidates are expected to study well before appearing for the examination. NEET has several toppers every year and every topper will have his/her own methods to follow.
  2. To concentrate on each and every concept thoroughly. Going through syllabus, clearing doubts and thorough preparation along with practicing examples is the key to crack NEET.
  3. Candidates can refer to the study material given in the classrooms.
  4. Special attention should be given to textbook concepts since every question asked will be only and only based on syllabus.
  5. Since the syllabus is vast candidates can divide each section in small units and allocating specific time for revising and preparing for that particular section will become much simpler and help to finish the syllabus.
  6. Before going ahead on each new topic, candidate should ensure that the concept of topics is cleared and then proceed. It shouldn’t happen that while studying new concepts you forget the old ones.
