The Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (abbreviated, LBSIM) is a business school located in Dwarka, New Delhi. The institution was established by the “Lal Bahadur Shastri Educational Trust” in 1995. Since its inception, the institute has come to be known as one of the most exclusive business schools in the country.
LBSIM Delhi offers a General Post Graduate Diploma in Management as well as specialised courses should the candidate be willing to pursue a more niche subject. These are three such specialisations. Additionally, the college offers a Masters in Computer Applications programme as well as an Executive PGDM and a Part Time PGDM programme.

The Lal Bahadur Institute of Management (LBSIM) counts itself to be among one of the top 50 business schools in India and as such, it practices a strenuous admission process. Entrance to all the PGDM courses other than the Part-Time PGDM course is regulated on the basis of the applicant’s performance in CAT (for domestic candidates) or GMAT (for international candidates). On the other hand, Part-Time PGDM course is conditional upon the candidate’s performance in the Group Discussion and the Personal Interview rounds. The MCA applications are conditional on the candidate’s performance in CET.
- All the PG Diploma programme applications except those of the Part-Time programme are shortlisted based on CAT or GMAT scores.
- The Part-Time PG Diploma programme shortlists applications based on their performances in the group discussion and interview conducted by the institute.
- MCA admissions are made based on the candidate’s score in CET conducted by GGSIPU.
LBSIM Results and Cutoff
The LBSIM New Delhi PGDM applicants are shortlisted depending upon their performances in group discussion and personal interview rounds. Selected candidates are called for having LBSIM GD PI experience on the basis of their scores in the CAT or GMAT examinations. These entrance exams are generally held in the month of November or December. The ultimate admission results are declared by the end of April. The MCA candidates are required to take CET that also takes place in the same period.

For the last few years, Lal Bahadur Institute of Management LBSIM Delhi has been successful in achieving high levels of placement records with its students. With the 2017-2019 batch, the college achieved 100% success in its placement process. The LBSIM campus lies sprawled across 103 acres at Dwarka, near New Delhi.
