LBSIM Placement Report 

Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management(LBSIM), ranked amongst the premier B-Schools in the NCR region, lived up to its glorious past and witnessed another successful placement season for the batch of 2018-20. With over 280 students participating in the placement process, LBSIM witnessed 305 offers from over 70 companies covering all major domains like Finance, Sales & Marketing, General Management, HR and Operationsalong with many eminent recruiters being added to the diverse portfolio. 

Recognising LBSIM’s competency in the financial sector, reputed MNCs like EY India, Deloitte, Bain, Marsh India,KPMG, EY GDS, Smartcube etc. offered coveted job profiles. Domestic banks also made their presence felt with ICICI Bank, SBI, HDFC Bank, YES Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank etc. by presenting handsome offers to the students.

With its robust growth story, the IT and Research & Consultancy domain was also well represented by companies like Accenture, Infosys, NewGen Software, TCS, Wipro, Collabera Technologies,etc.

Numerous coveted and varied profiles were offered this year by several first-time recruiters like Capgemini,Marico, Vivo, HCL Technologies, Lenskart, ANZ bank, Randstad, Delhivery, Publicis Sapient, Clear tax, Landmark Insurance Brokers, NinjaCart,etc.

Sales and Marketing profiles were offered by companies like Asian Paints, Marico, Maruti Suzuki, Bajaj Finserv, Schindler, TVS Motors, HITACHI, Mahindra & Mahindra etc. Financial and marketing research profiles were offered by prominent names like The Smart Cube, Gartner, Kantar, Neilsen, ZS Associates,etc. The automobile sector marked its presence through companies like Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra & Mahindra, TVS Motors,etc. In order to add to the list of reputed recruiters, we also had international offers from companies like Capgemini and Square Yards.

The highest package offered for this year stood at Rs.21 LPA with the average CTC rising to 9.9 LPA with an increase of 7.5% from the previous year. In terms of industry-wise break-up, Research & Consultancy made up to 36% of the total offers, whereas BFSI made up 27% of the offers, followed by IT/ITES, FMCG and Engineering & Durables making up to 17%, 7% and 7% respectively. 

For summer internship for the Batch of 2019-21 of PGDM (General), PGDM (Finance), PGDM (Logistics and Supply Chain Management) and PGDM (Research and Business Analytics), over 60 companies have selected our students for variety of projects locating them on a pan-India basis. The summer placement stipend offered ranges from Rs. 5,000- 89000 pm.
