LBSIM Placement Report 2021-2023

The Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Delhi (LBSIM), ranked as one of India’s premier business schools, has released its PGDM placement report for 2021-2023. Students enrolled for PGDM courses were placed quickly and efficiently before the end of their fifth trimester. The engaging curriculum, experienced instructors, and student potential contributed to the success of this placement season. 

LBSIM, which has over 150+ recruitment partners, had active participation from over 50+ established recruiters. One of the most notable aspects was the wide range of job profiles available, as well as the diversity of recruiters.

Top major highlights for Placements 2021 -23 are listed below: 

  • The highest salary package offered was 24.75 LPA.
  • The average salary package was Rs.12.42 LPA.
  • The Median salary package was Rs. 12.05 LPA.
  • 95% placement completed in October 2022, and 100% placement completed by the first week of November for the 2021-23 Batch
  • IT/ITES accounts for 22.9% of all offers, R&C accounts for 47.1%, BFSI accounts for 13.8%, FMCG/FMCD accounts for 10.6%, and engineering and durables accounts for 5.6% of all offers.
  • Some prominent recruiters include D.E. Shaw, Bain & Co, Airtel, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, Grant Thornton, Asian Paints, Britannia, Ruchi Soya, ZS, Infosys, Wipro, Maruti Suzuki, among other industry leaders from various sectors.
  • There were 39 Pre-Placement Offers/Interviews.

LBSIM Placements Students Profiles 2022 

  • The participating batch of LBSIM students had 70% male and 30% female students.
  • 74% of students had prior work experience of less than a year, 17% of students had work experience of 1-2 years, and 9% had previous experience of more than 2 years.
  • The majority of the students had a background in Commerce and engineering, while the rest came from arts and science backgrounds. 

LBSIM Course-wise Placement 2022 

  • PGDM – General Management had maximum participation (51%) from the Research and Consultancy followed by IT and ITES sector(22%). The highest salary package offered was Rs. 24.75 LPA and the average offered was Rs. 12.40 LPA. 
  • PGDM – Financial Management had the maximum participation (56%) from the Research and Consultancy sector, followed by IT and ITES (25%). The highest salary package offered was Rs. 17.20 LPA and the average offered was Rs. 12.67 LPA.
  • PGDM – Research & Business Analytics had the maximum participation (53.6%) from the Research and Consultancy sector, followed by IT and ITES (30.9%). The highest salary package offered was Rs. 14 LPA and the average offered was Rs. 11.62 LPA.
