The cut off of 2023 BCECE will be the minimum score or ranks which the candidates are required to secure if they wish to secure admission in B.Tech degree programs in the institutes that participate in BCECE. The higher the marks secured, the better chances you have to secure admission in the institute of your choice. The factors like number of seats available, difficulty of the BCECE exam, number of candidates appearing for the exam, number of candidates applying for the exam shall be the deciding factor for preparing the cut off list of 2023.

The candidates are required to check the opening and closing ranks of BCECE 2023 cut off for admission reason. The closing rank is the base marks that will be required for admission.

Admission Process:

  • The candidates aspiring to pursue engineering in the state of Bihar from one of the institutes who are participating in the conduction of this examination, need to appear for the BCECE Examination.
  • In order to appear for the examination, the candidates need to fill the application from through online mode. The application form shall be released once the notification for the same is issued.
  • Before the candidate fills the application form, the candidate must ensure that he/she is eligible to appear for the examination. The most important criteria is that the candidate must be native of the State of Bihar.
  • The application form shall consist of all personal information that must be duly filled by the candidate. This information can be subsequently changed and scrutinized. This can be done even after the registration is successfully completed.
  • Following the registration process, the candidates will be issued a unique registration number. On entering the same, the candidate can use it to enter the password and glance at his/her details that are filled.
  • Following this, admit card will be issued. This has to be downloaded from the official website. It is important for candidates to take the printout of this admit card for the future reference. This is the document they must compulsorily carry to the examination centre. They shall not be allowed to appear for the examination if they fail to do so.
  • The paper has to be written using pen and paper. It is a manual exam and not an online examination. The paper carries a total of 1200 marks and has four sections. Physics, chemistry, biology/mathematics. Each section has 100 questions and each question carries 4 marks. If an answer to a question is wrong, 1 mark is deducted.
  • Each section contains a lot of topic that the student needs to study. The student must prepare well for the paper by planning the time to study each section. Using the preparation tips above, will be helpful for the candidate to secure the best possible marks.
  • The results will be announced and after the same, the candidates who qualify will have to then proceed for counselling. The list of documents that the candidate needs to carry is given above. The candidates shall carry their income certificate, caste certificate, admit card, allotment letter, etc to the college that is allotted for admission.
  • During the counselling procedure, the candidate must also be prepared to pay the fees of the college.
  • The candidate must fill the preferred college in the form in the order of their choice.
  • The cut off shall decide if you will be able to secure admission in the college of your choice.
  • The cut off depend on a number of factors. The number of students appearing for the examination, the number of candidates applying for the particular college, the overall results, etc.
  •  The college shall then allot admission to the candidates.
