UPSC-CMS 2019 Registration

The notification of the examination is usually released by the UPSC released in the month of May and examination is conducted in the month of July. The candidates are selected on the basis of written examination and interview process. Document verification takes place during the interview process and only for the candidates who qualify the selection process.

Candidates can apply for the examination through the official website of UPSC. As per the rules of UPSC the application form would need to be filled in two stages where the stage 1 will be for the registration process with the basic details and Stage 2 will be confirm the academic details and other necessary details. Candidates would also need to upload the photo and signature as per the requirements specified by Union Public Service Commission for the examination. Candidates then can submit the fees through any online method.

The size of the documents to be uploaded that is photograph and signature duly scanned should not be exceed 40 KB and must not be less than 3 KB each in size for the photograph and 1 KB for the signature.

Candidates would be required to submit the application fee of Rs 200 either by using the net banking facility of the State Bank of India or by using any Visa / Master / RUPAY Credit / Debit Card or either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash.

The applications for the exam are only accepted through online and candidates are advised to apply before the last day to avoid the last minute rush. Candidates should follow the following steps to fill the application form:-

  • Visit the official website of UPSC
  • Click on the link stated “Online application for various examinations of UPSC”
  • Candidates would need to complete both the parts of registration process. There are two parts of registration process and both are mandatory.
  • Click on the link Part – I to begin the process and continue with providing the information required.
  • Candidate will receive the valid registration ID after completing the part 1 of registration.
  • Candidate should now move to submit the part – II of the registration which includes the uploading of necessary documents, paying the application fee and selecting the examination centre.
  • Candidates should re-check all the information before the final submission as they will not able to edit after the final submission of the application form.
  • Candidate will receive the auto-generated confirmation mail in their registered email ID once they have completed the final submission of the application form.
