The last date for MHT CET 2026 registration has been extended to February 20, 2026, for both PCM and PCB groups. The Maharashtra State CET Cell announced this extension through an official notification. Candidates planning to appear for either the first attempt or both attempts must complete their application on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
To apply, candidates must first complete the registration process on the CET portal. After successful registration, they can fill out the MHT CET 2026 application form. The application will be considered complete only after payment of the prescribed fee in online mode. The deadline to pay the MHT CET 2026 application fee is February 13, 2026.
The application process involves several steps:

The application form will be submitted after the payment of the application fee. Candidates should download and print a copy of their completed application form for future reference. This printed copy must be kept safe until the admission process is completed, as it will be required during college admission.

Step 1: Registration
To begin the application process, candidates must visit the official website. The first step is registration, where candidates need to enter personal details, a valid email address, and a phone number. After registration, the candidate will receive login credentials for the application form on their registered email.
Step 2: Filling Personal and Educational Details
Candidates must enter their name exactly as it appears on their Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets. They should carefully provide all required personal and educational details. While filling out the form, candidates must specify whether they are opting for PCM, PCB, or both. Additionally, they must select the language in which they wish to take the examination (English, Hindi, Marathi, or Urdu).
Step 3: Uploading Documents
Candidates need to upload their photograph and signature in the specified format and size. If applying under a reserved category, candidates must upload their caste certificate. Other necessary documents such as proof of identity and mark sheets should be uploaded in the correct format and size.

Step 4: Application Fee Payment
The application fee can be paid either online or offline. Once the fee is successfully paid, the application form will be automatically submitted. Candidates should download and keep a PDF copy of their completed application form, as it will be required during the admission process.
