While official cut-offs vary by campus, the expected IBSAT 2026 cut-off ranges from around 60 to 80+ marks (out of 140), with IBS Hyderabad being the most competitive. As a rough benchmark, a score of 85+ generally corresponds to around the 80–85 percentile.

IBS Selection Process After IBSAT

Clearing the exam is only the first stage. Shortlisted candidates then go through:

1. Selection Briefings (January 2027): Informational sessions held across various cities where candidates learn about programme structures and what to expect.
2. Micro-Presentation: Candidates pick one topic from three options, with about 1 minute to prepare and 3 minutes to present — assessing communication, clarity of thought, and quick thinking.
3. Personal Interview: A 5–7 minute interview evaluating attitude, aspirations, general awareness, communication skills, and leadership potential.

The final admission offer is based on a combination of your IBSAT score, micro-presentation, personal interview, and past academic record (Class X, XII, and graduation performance).
