B.Tech Admissions:
The IIT Ropar B.Tech cutoff 2024 is determined based on JEE Advanced ranks and JoSAA counselling. For the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program, the Round 1 cutoff ranged from AIR 1158 (opening rank) to AIR 2234 (closing rank) for candidates in the General (Gender-Neutral) category.
JoSAA is conducting counselling in five rounds this year, releasing separate cutoffs for each.

IIT Ropar Campus Life and Events

MCM (Merit-cum-Means) Scholarship for B.Tech Students
The institute awards scholarships to students based on their All India Rank (AIR) in the JEE examination. In McM, the amount offered is INR 1,000. The scholarship is renewed based on academic achievement.
M.Sc students can apply for the Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarship.

To be eligible for the JRF scholarship and fellowship amount (25,000 per month + 10% HRA if applicable), the applicant must have a PG Degree in Basic Science with a GATE/NET score or a Degree in the professional course. To be eligible for the SRF scholarship and fellowship amount (28,000) per month + 10% HRA if applicable), the applicant must have completed JRF and have two years of research experience. After completing three years of the Ph.D. programme, students can apply for a Post-Doctoral Fellowship.
