Latest Update: Staff Selection Commission has come to a decision to normalize the scores for all its exams that are being held in more than one shift. The students in different shifts get question paper sets with the fluctuating difficulty level. So, in order to make sure that the exam is fair and equal to all,  Normalization is used.

  • The candidates who have cleared class 10 are eligible to apply
  • Secondly, the candidates must be the age between 18-25 years

SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria: SSC MTS Notification 2019

The students who want to appear in the exam must know that they have to satisfy the SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria in order to write the exam. In any case, if any candidate does not meet the Eligibility Criteria, they cannot sit in the exam. The following is elaborated eligibility criteria of SSC MTS:

SSC MTS Age Limit: Eligibility Criteria

The students who want to fill the SSC MTS Application Form must be in between the age of 18-25 years. The Age-Relaxation for SSC MTS varies from one category to another. The candidates can check the following table for SSC MTS Age-Relaxation:

SSC MTS Education Qualification

The candidate must be an Indian if they want to apply for the exam. The following places are permitted for the SSC MTS Nationality eligibility:

  • A citizen of India
  • Subject of Nepal
  • Subject of Bhutan
  • Tibetan Refugee
  • Person of Indian Origin came from Pakistan, Burma, Afganistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam.

SSC MTS Notification 2019: SSC MTS Exam Pattern

There are a total of 2 exams that candidates have to appear in, in order to be recruited. The following is the detailed SSC MTS Exam Pattern

  • Paper 1 is an objective exam
  • There will be a total of 150 questions that candidates have to finish
  • Thirdly, the time given will be 120 minutes and 160 to the handicapped candidates
  • Exam 1 will cover 4 subjects: GK, Maths, English, Reasoning

Documents Required while filling the SSC MTS Application Form

The candidates require some certain documents during the process of SSC MTS Application Form filling. The students can check out the following documents which they need:

  • The Aadhaar card of the candidate
  • The official certificates of 10th
  • The SC/ST certificate if the candidate does not belong to General category
  • The OBC community certificate if the candidate belongs to OBC category
  • Also, the PwD certificates if the candidate is physically disabled
  • Moreover, the candidate must keep the receipt of payment
  • If the candidate belongs to J&K, they must have the J&K domicile certificate
  • The candidates who are ex-servicemen, they require an original discharge certificate

SSC MTS Notification: How To Apply for SSC MTS

It is very easy to apply for the SSC MTS Application Form. The candidates can follow the steps given below in order to apply for the SSC MTS exam:

Step 1: Online Registration

  • Candidates will visit the Official Website of SSC
  • Secondly, they will find a button to Application Form
  • Click on it
  • A new page will appear
  • Candidates will fill the details like Name, Father’s Name, Phone Number, E-mail ID
  • Submit the details, now

Candidates are advised to fill their contact details correctly. Because this is where candidates will be getting all the updates. Also, only one application from each region will be accepted by a candidate

Step 2: Form Filling

  • A new page will appear once you submit the basic details
  • Now, candidates will fill the following information in the SSC MTS Application Form Step 2
  1. Name and code of the state/Union Territory
  2. Personal Information
  3. Category
  4. Education qualification
  5. Work experience
  6. Residential address, name, and signature of the candidate

Step 3: Uploading Photo & Signature

Step 3 of the form is the continuation of step 2 of the form. In this part, the candidates will upload the Photo & Signature in the form. Also, they will complete the payment in the Application Form of SSC MTS

  • Candidates will fill the Registration Number & Password to continue
  • The candidates must follow the guidelines given below in the table during the time of uploading photo and signature in the form

Step 4: SSC MTS Application Form Fee

Next step is payment of the form. The candidates must look at the following table for the Fee Payment of the SSC MTS Application Form:

  • Candidates can choose one option from the Online Mode or Offline Mode in order to pay for the SSC MTS /Application Form

Offline Application Mode for SSC MTS Application Form 

Candidates have to follow a similar process of the offline application form as the online mode for SSC MTS.

  • Candidates will, first, log onto the official website of SSC MTS
  • Then, candidates will click on the ANNEXURE I (paper mode) from the page
  • The application should be submitted to the regional/sub-regional office of the commission.
  • The students must make the payment the application fee by means of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (CRFS)
  • CRFS stamps are available at all the departmental post offices of the country. CRFS must be cancelled in a way that the impression must partially overflow the SSC MTS form.
  • The application fee will remain the same that is INR 100 and the reserved categories and females do not have to pay.
  • Submit the details

    Sir I filled the mts form on 3rd may. When I paid my fees on online payment Rs.100/- deduct from my account. But it shows failure. Please help me. I checked today but no update. Do I have to pay twice?
