BITS Pilani Courses & Fees 2025

BITS Pilani offers a range of on-campus programs in Engineering, Pharmacy, Science, Management, and various other fields. Dual Degree Programs at BITS Pilani

A popular choice among students, the Dual Degree Programs at BITS Pilani allow students to earn two degrees simultaneously in ten semesters (five years). Students typically begin with any BE or M.Sc program and can opt to pursue a second degree at the end of the first year, depending on their CGPA. The most common dual degree combination is BE + M.Sc, as the M.Sc (Hons) program has a relatively lower cutoff, allowing students to earn a Bachelor of Engineering degree along with a Master of Science degree.

BTech from BITS Pilani

The NIRF Engineering rankings 2021 place BITS Pilani BTech at 26. In its BTech programme, the institute offers seven specialisations. In addition, for working professionals only, BITS Pilani WILP offers off-campus BTech degrees in Engineering Technology and Process Engineering. Admission to the regular BTech programme is based on BITSAT scores. Admission to the off-campus BTech programme, on the other hand, is based on the students' performance in their most recent qualifying examination.

MBA from BITS Pilani

BITS Pilani provides a two-year MTech/ME programme with 16 specialisations. BITS Pilani MTech/ME admission is based on BITS HD or GATE entrance scores. Work Integrated Learning Programs (WILP) at BITS Pilani are technical continuing education programmes for working professionals and industries. WILP began with 30 students in 1979 and now has over 30,000 professionals enrolled. More than 1000 faculty members are affiliated with the WILP. Work integrated learning programmes are available to both working professionals and businesses. MTech, BTech, MBA, MSc, PG Diploma, and PG Certificate programmes are available to working professionals. Data Science at BITS Pilani

Through its Work Integrated Learning Programs, BITS Pilani offers MTech Data Science and Engineering programmes (WILP). It is a four-semester programme that can be completed without taking a break from work. BITS Pilani Campus

BITS Pilani has three campuses in India and one in Dubai. The Pilani campus is the oldest and main campus, home to India's first technological museum, the Birla Museum. The campus boasts world-class facilities including state-of-the-art labs, a comprehensive library, and a well-equipped sports complex.

BITS Pilani Hostel

BITS Pilani is fully residential, providing hostel accommodation for all students. There are eleven hostels for boys and one hostel complex for girls, each referred to as a "Bhawan". Hostel rooms are fully furnished with internet connectivity, water purifiers, and solar water heaters. Common room facilities with Cable TV and telephone are available in each hostel. Every two boys' hostels share a common kitchen-cum-mess unit, while the girls' hostel has its own separate mess. The hostel fees for the first year are INR 66,300 (including mess and electricity charges), with fees revised upward each year.

• First-year students usually get double occupancy rooms, transitioning to single occupancy rooms from the second year onward.
• First and second-year hostels are newly built and in very good condition, with reasonable pricing and decent mess food. Rooms come with two LAN slots, two whiteboards, a pair of tables, chairs, beds, and two almirahs.
• Each floor has around four water dispensers and fifty washroom and bathing cubicles.

BITS Pilani Scholarships

BITS Pilani provides a wide range of scholarships, fellowships, and financial aid to support its students. Approximately 30% of the student body benefits from some form of financial assistance offered by the institute. Scholarships are awarded based on a dual criterion of Merit and Family Income. Merit is assessed through CGPA (announced every semester), while the family income cap is set at INR 8,00,000 per annum from all sources.

Scholarships are granted on a semester basis, and their renewal depends on the student's academic performance and financial need. To remain eligible, students must maintain a strong CGPA throughout their program.
