Paper II- General Ability:
Section A- Physics:
Heat, latent heat, Static Electricity, Current Electricity, Pendulum, Laws of physics like Newton’s Law, Ohm’s Law. General principle in working of levers, simple pulleys, thermos, flask, simple pendulum, etc.
Section B- Chemistry:
The chemical formula of various substances, mixtures, compounds, elements, various experiments using oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen and carbon di oxide.
Section C- General Science:
This section includes the physiology of human body and the vital life processes like respiration, reproduction, excretion, balance diet, etc.
Section D- (History, Freedom Movement)
An in-depth study of the Freedom movement of India. Study of formation of constitution, development of various five years plan and their implementation. Revolution in Russia and France, renaissance, Freedom movement of USA, World War I and II, etc.
Section E- Geography:
Latitudes and Longitudes, Earth, states and union territories of India, rivers, lakes, mountains and their study. Weathering and soil erosion, Earthquakes and volcanoes, study of the solar system, galaxy, stars and constellations, Ocean currents, Climate and climate change. Cyclones, natural vegetation world.
