SSC JE 2019 Application Process

The SSC JE application process will start once the notification for the exam is released. The application can be done through the online mode only. To apply for this exam, you need to just follow the instructions given below:

  1. Go to the official website of Staff Selection Commission https://ssc.nic.in/
  2. You need to select the option “Apply” on the top of the homepage.
  3. In the page that appears, select the option “JE”.
  4. You must go through the instructions carefully before initiating the application process.
  5. You will find a link for applying online. Click on it for initiating the online application process.
  6. New registration has to be done by those candidates who are appearing first time for the exam. You will be getting a registration-id and password. You need to use this for the online filing of the application form.
  7. Fill all the details in the application form with the utmost care. The particulars that need to fill include the basic information such as name, date of birth, address, gender. educational qualification, contact details etc.
  8. It is suggested to keep all the essential documents in hand while entering the details. This helps in avoiding unnecessary errors.
  9. Give your scanned photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned in the instruction. The size of the scanned photograph must be between 4 KB and 20 KB while that of signature will be between 1 KB and 12 KB.
  10. Give the final submission.
  11. Before giving the final submission, verify whether you have filled all the details appropriately.

Application Fees: Only the male candidates belonging to the general category need to pay the application fee of Rs. 100. All others including women, SC, ST, Physically Challenged and Ex-servicemen are exempted from it. The payment can be done in two ways: online and offline. You can use net banking, debit card and credit card for payment through online while e-challan can be used for payment through offline mode.
