MICAT Cutoff
The cut off the entrance examination is the minimum marks which the candidate must score to be eligible to participate in the next round. There are certain parameters which are generally taken into the account while determining the final cut off and they are the total number of candidates who appeared for MICAT, difficulty level of the exam; past year cut off trends and other vital things. In the previous season, many test-takers scoring between 58-66/105 failed for the second round as they had not cleared the Psychometric test, while someone clearing the Psychometric Test and scoring as low as 49/105 received a call for the Personal Interview: –

It is highly recommended that the candidate keeps checking the official website of MICA as there have been many changes in the past few years.

The score of the candidates is calculated to the normalized scores. The score will be converted into a standardized score which is obtained by the candidate in a sub-section of MICAT. The normalization of the scores will be completed using the appropriate statistical methods by considering scores of all qualifying candidates up to the stage applicable to the candidate. And this will be done for each sub-section separately. The normalization of the score will also be done for the total MICAT I and MICAT II score by using the appropriate statistical methods.
