MAH-CET Engineering Registration

Applicants should fill their application form once it is released on the official website. It is possible to submit the application form only through the online mode. If you are sending the application form through any other mode, it will not be accepted. It is mandatory for the candidates to ensure the complete filling of the application form otherwise it will not be accepted. Here, the correction window facility is available and so you can correct the wrong entries. But this option will be available only for a specific period of time.

Candidates should follow the below-mentioned steps for the successful filling of the application form:

Step 1: Registration

Visit the official website of the exam and select “Apply Online”. In the window that opens, fill all the necessary details

Those details include

  • Name of the Candidate
  • Name of the Father/Husband/Guardian
  • Name of the Mother
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Contact information such as Email ID, Mobile number, address. It is important to give the correct details as this will be used for the future correspondence.
  • Category of the Candidate such as General category, Other Backward class, Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe. For accurate details, refer to the website of National Commission for Backward Classes. This information is important for claiming the reservation.
  • Details regarding the Disability of the candidates. It is mandatory that the reservation for disabled persons can be availed only by those candidates whose disability is more than 40%.
  • Other information includes information regarding the Religion, total annual family income of the person and the bank details such as Name of the bank, IFSC code, type of account etc.
  • The most important details that should be provided should be regarding your educational background.
  • Subjects of the exam
  • Medium of instruction of the question paper

Once all these details are filled, you need to select a password with has the characters from 8-15. These characters should be in the following format. It should have at least one upper case letter, one numeric, and one numeric. Note down this password so that you can use for the future logins.

Next step would be to read the declaration and choose “ I agree”. Give the security key that appears on the screen for further processes. It is important to check the details before giving the final submission. Certain details such as the name of the candidate, name of the father, Date of birth, email ID and mobile phone no will not be changed once they are submitted.

Step 2: Photo/Signature Upload

Next step is to upload the photograph and the signature as per the specifications given on the website. Ensure that the photograph and the signature have the white background.

Step 3: Fees Payment

Fees should be paid through the online mode. It can be done through Credit card/ Debit Card/Net banking or mobile wallets.

For general category and those from outside Maharashtra, J&K migrant candidates Rs.800
For OBC/SC/ST belonging to Maharashtra only Rs.500

Step 4: Final Confirmation

Once the final confirmation is done, it is important to take the print out for future reference.
