MAH-CET MBA 2021 Registration

MAH-CET MBA 2021 registration would be done online on its official portal Candidates are requested to fill their forms and apply for MBA entrance exam starts from June 22, 2021. The last date to fill online application form is July 19, 2021. You need to follow the simple steps and register for MAH-CET 2021. DTE Maharashtra would not accept the forms submitted by courier or post. All the application and forms are accepted online only.

Step 1 Registration

  • Visit the official website.
  • Click on the link to access the application form.
  • Click on “Apply Online”
  • Read proper instructions provided and click on “Apply Now”.
  • After submitting the appropriate details, there would be application number generated for each applicant.

Step 2 Upload

  • There is photography required and signature of the applicant. Scan it and upload on the portal.
  • The size of a photograph must be 200 X 230 pixels not more than 50 KB. The file is supported in JPG and JPEG formats.
  • Sign on the plain white paper with blank ink. The dimension of the signature must be 140 X 60 and not exceed 20 KB. JPG and JPEG formats are supported. Upload the signature document too.
  • While uploading makes sure the images are true and clear to avoid any further issues. Improper images may lead to rejection of the form.

Step 3 Form Filling

  • There are various personal details asked in the form such a personal, academic.
  • Fill as per the instructions along with contact details.
  • Genuine and True details to be filled in the form.

Step 4 – Payment

  • Once the documents are successfully uploaded, you would be directly sent to a payment gateway.
  • Pay the fees via online mode. There are various options for paying online including debit card, credit card, mobile wallet, internet banking and many more. Service charges may be applicable to the following transactions.
  • For General Category Applicants the application fees are INR – 1000
  • For Backward Class categories the fees in INR – 800

Some Rules for Application Fees

  • All the Fees are to be paid online only.
  • Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card is the payment mode accepted on the website.
  • Applicants will receive an e-receipt through email, after making payment.
  • In case of failure, log in again and repeat the payment procedure.
  • Keep a printout of e-receipt of MAH CET 2021 application form.

Some points to keep in consideration for payment

  • Services charges are as per rule that would be applied along the payment.
  • While payment is made, avoid pressing back or refresh button, it may result in an error or double charged.
  • Once the transaction is successfully done, an e-receipt is generated. Take a printout and keep it in your records.
  • In case of failure, log in again using your provisional registration number along with a password and follow the process of payment.

Once the application has paid the requisite application fee, they need to recheck the application status to avoid any further issues. In case of any changes need to made in an application form, you can go on their official website. Enter your application number and password, click on edit profile and submit the form.

Eligibility Criterion Home University

Type A – Candidates Passing SSC and attaining Diploma in Engineering of HSC/ Bachelors of Science Exam from a well-known institution in state of Maharashtra.


Domicile of Maharashtra

Born in Maharashtra

The location of passing Qualifying Exam should fall within jurisdiction of the limitations of University area.
Type B – Those candidates having eligibility of Type A candidates but their mother or father, one of them are domiciles of Maharashtra. The location of domicile certificate of mother/ father must fall within the jurisdiction as per the limitations of University area.
Type C – Candidates who are nor in Type A or Type B but their either of parents is Government of India or employee of Government of India undertaking. The parents must have been appeared on the duty position with Maharashtra Government before the MH CET application submission.

The parents posting should be within the jurisdiction as per limitation of University area.


Type D- Candidates who are neither Type A,B or C but one of their parents are employed or retired with Government of Maharashtra or have retired with it. Place of posting of either parents or place of settlement in factor of retirement,

Place of last posting, if outside Maharashtra, the place should be within the jurisdiction of particular University area.
