SPJIMR Mumbai Scholarships 2025

1. Merit-cum-Means Based Financial Assistance

  • Offered to first- and second-year PGDM/PGDM (BM) students.

  • Awarded based on financial need, academic performance, extracurricular activities, and conduct.

  • The assistance typically comes as partial or full tuition reimbursement.

  • Applications open in July, after the program commences. A selection panel evaluates eligibility.

2. Mirae Asset Foundation (MAF) Scholarship

  • Targeted at meritorious and needy students whose family income is under INR 8 lakhs per annum.

  • Each year, two scholarships are awarded to students from either first or second year.

  • Each scholarship is worth INR 5 lakhs.

3. Merit-Based Scholarship for International Exchange

  • Available to second-year students selected for an international exchange program.

  • To qualify, the student must rank within the top 30 in the batch (based on CGPA at the end of the first year).

  • The award reimburses up to INR 2 lakhs, covering costs like:

    • Return travel from India

    • Visa and insurance fees

    • Lodging during the program

4. Fellowship Programme in Management (FPM) – Fully Funded

  • The full-time FPM is fully-funded for all admitted scholars.

  • Scholars receive monthly stipends throughout the program:

    • ₹40,000/month during coursework

    • ₹42,000/month after clearing the qualifying exam (CQE)

    • ₹45,000/month after successful thesis proposal defense

  • Additional benefits include:

    • ₹70,000 contingency grant for laptops

    • ₹30,000/year (years 2–4) for research-related expenses

    • Conference grants for attending one domestic and one international conference over the program tenure

5. Other Academic/Merit-Based Scholarships

  • In certain cases, scholarships are awarded at the time of admission based on academic excellence, entrance exam scores, and leadership credentials.

  • These may not require a separate application.
