Dr. Verghese Kurien Scholarship: Amount – Upto 2 Lakhs

Constituted in the honour of Dr V Kurien, the father of the White Revolution in India and is given to the wards of farmers to pursue the PGPM program. Those students who meet the following criteria can apply – Ward of a Farmer with annual income below 5 lacs.

Unique Achievement Award: Amount – Upto 2 Lakhs

This scholarship recognizes students with outstanding accomplishments in sports, fine arts, social work, or similar fields. It also honours leadership in NGOs, and initiatives like Teach for India or AIESEC. Eligibility:

To be eligible for the one year MBA – PGPM program, a student must fulfil the following criteria.

• A Completed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution with at least 50% in graduation
• Greater than 60% in 10th & 12th Standard Examinations
• Minimum 2 years of Prior Work Experience is required

Soil’s 2 Year PGDM Program is India’s first AICTE approved 2 year PGDM program integrating Business, Design Thinking & Liberal Arts with a focus on Innovation and Creativity to provide business students with an international learning curriculum building modern skills in Creativity, Innovation, and problem-solving. This innovative program revolutionizes traditional management education in India by adopting a multidisciplinary approach, incorporating Design Thinking and Liberal Arts into the curriculum. It ensures that every candidate who is selected is able to attend the program irrespective of their socio-economic background. In order to achieve this, it has allocated generous scholarships which are mentioned below:

Need Based Scholarship

The objective of the need-based scholarship at SOIL is to support potential students who would like to pursue PGDM but need financial support. Those students whose gross annual family income is below Rs.5,00,000 during the previous financial year are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Merit Based Scholarship

The scholarship committee will be evaluating the applications based on the academic track record of the student and the Entrance Exam scores. The shortlisted students will be called for a personal interaction with the scholarship committee.

Unique Achievement Award

This category of scholarships is given to those students who have earned awards or achievements in the field of Sports, Fine Arts, Social Work or any other related fields.

Eligibility:

• All applicants are required to appear for GMAT /CAT /XAT /MAT.
• Freshers and candidates with less than 3 years of work experience are eligible to apply.
• Applicants may submit multiple examination scores; SOBD will consider the best score provided by an applicant while shortlisting applications
• Candidates should have a full-time undergraduate degree completion certificate before 15th June 2026
• Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution
