Application Deadlines for Admissions 2026

SOIL follows a rolling admission process. In each round of admissions, applications meeting eligibility criteria will be accepted & candidates will be intimated about the selection to the program.

  • Early Application Round: 11th October 2025
  • Round 1: 13th December 2025

Admissions Policy

SOIL follows a profile-based selection process for its PGPM & PGDM Programs. Overall academic performance, work experience, achievements, and leadership potential are considered while shortlisting, apart from entrance scores.

Eligibility (Admissions 2026):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any Discipline
  • Minimum 2 Years of Work Experience for flagship PGPM
  • Freshers and graduates with work experience are eligible to apply for PGDM & PGPM HR programs
  • For PGDM Program, one of the National Entrance Exam Scores, approved by AICTE is mandatory. Valid CAT 2025, XAT 2026, GMAT (taken after 1st Jan 2024), CMAT 2026, MAT 2025/2026, NMAT 2025 (Accepted subject to submission of one of the AICTE Approved test scores) scores are accepted
  • For PGPM & PGPM-HR Programs, Valid CAT 2024/25, NMAT 2024/25, XAT 2025/26, MAT 2025/26, CMAT 2025/26 scores are accepted (One score is mandatory). Entrance exam scores from the last two years are also accepted.
  • If you don’t have any of the above scores, you can appear for SAT (SOIL Aptitude Test)

SOIL Aptitude Test (SAT)

The SOIL Aptitude Test is a mandatory assessment for applicants who have not submitted recognized entrance exam scores (such as CAT, XAT, NMAT, etc.). It is also available for candidates who have already submitted other test scores but wish to improve their chances of admission. This test is an essential component of the SOIL admissions process.

  • Duration: 60 minutes.
  • Aptitude-Based: The test is designed to assess candidates’ abilities without requiring extensive preparation.
  • Mandatory for Completion: Test results are required to complete the admission process.
  • Timing: The exam can be taken before or after the GEPI (Group Exercise and Personal Interview) process but must be completed for final admission consideration.

Admission Process

PGPM & PGPM-HR Admissions Process

1. Online Application

  • Candidates must submit an online application and pay the application fee of ₹2000 (non-refundable).

2. Shortlisting

  • Shortlisting is done on the basis of a profile-based selection process that evaluates the candidate’s academic performance, extra-curricular activities, work experience, and leadership potential. For early applicants (Round 1), admission test scores (CAT/XAT/NMAT/GMAT) are optional.
  • Candidates without a valid entrance exam score can appear for SAT and be considered for shortlisting.

3. Group Exercise & Leadership Assessment

Design Thinking Workshop

  • Candidates will participate in a Design Thinking Workshop, a half-day event where they are required to solve real-life problems using Design Thinking Principles. This will showcase their creative problem-solving skills and innovation potential.

SOIL Leadership Assessment

  • Applicants are required to take the SOIL Leadership Assessment, a 60 minute psychometric Assessment that measures leadership potential and key personality traits.

4. Personal Interview (PI)

  • A Personal Interview will be conducted by a panel comprising SOIL faculty and senior industry professionals. This interview will evaluate the candidate’s interest in the program, leadership abilities, and career goals.

5. Final Selection

  • Candidates will be selected based on their academic performance, test scores, work experience, extra-curricular achievements, performance in the Design Thinking Workshop, and Personal Interview.

6. Admission Intimation

  • Selected candidates will be informed via email, with detailed instructions regarding admission procedures and the payment of admission fees.

PGDM Admissions Process

1. Online Application

  • Candidates must submit an online application and pay the required application fee of ₹2000 (non-refundable).

2. Shortlisting

  • Candidates will be shortlisted based on their past academic performance, admission test scores (CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT/CMAT), and relevant work experience.

3. Design Thinking Workshop

  • Candidates will participate in a Design Thinking Workshop, a half-day event where they are required to solve real-life problems using Design Thinking Principles. This will showcase their creative problem-solving skills and innovation potential.

4. Personal Interview (PI)

  • A Personal Interview will be conducted by a panel of industry experts and SOIL faculty. The interview will evaluate the applicant’s background, leadership potential, and fit for the program.

5. Final Selection

  • Candidates will be selected based on a combination of their past academic scores, admission test scores, extra-curricular achievements, work experience, performance in the Design Thinking Workshop, and the Personal Interview.

6. Admission Intimation

  • Selected candidates will be notified via email, with details about their selection and the payment of admission fees.
