A. Given the rigor of the course, it is a fully residential programme for all students.
Do you provide family accommodation for married students?
A. No family accommodation would be provided. Furnished single/twin sharing basis accommodation would be provided.
What are the estimated expenses for boarding, lodging?
A. Cost of accommodation and boarding at IIM/IIT: approximately Rs. 7,000 to Rs. 8,000 pm (on actuals)
What are the facilities provide on campus?
Q. Is it compulsory to stay in a hostel at IIM Calcutta?
Ans. Yes, It is obligatory for all students to stay within the campus throughout their course. IIMC provides well maintained hostel rooms for students with single occupancy. The institute also provides a non-air-conditioned hostel room to its exchange students who intend to spend one term at the campus.

Through the library with an enlarged database, students can gain access to over 140,000 reference works and 1500 periodicals, and access to the entire electronic collection.
