What’s your biggest doubt before applying to TAPMI?

  • ROI
  • Location (Manipal)
  • Workload reputation
  • Peer group
  • Specialization strength

Guys, genuine question, with the fees touching 17–18L, is TAPMI still considered a “safe + solid” option in terms of ROI?
Not asking for brochure stats… need actual student/alumni insight.
How is the average package vs. the median? Any dip this year?

Saw some seniors mention consulting exposure is improving, but how many real consulting offers happen outside campus committees?
Also, is TAPMI actually good for product/analytics roles or just a few standout cases?

TAPMI vs GIM. Your preference for 2026?

  • TAPMI
  • GIM
  • Depends on specialization
  • Would choose based on fees/ROI

Reddit users are saying TAPMI = rigor ka baap
Is it really sleepless nights everyday or just first term pressure?
Need clarity before committing.
Also how supportive are profs? Cutthroat competition or collaborative peer culture?

Why’s TAPMI even on your shortlist? Be honest.

  • Placements look clean
  • Finance/BKFS hype
  • Brand > everything
  • Manipal vibes
  • It’s my safe bet ngl

I’m seeing mixed answers everywhere.
Profile 1: 91/84/78 (Commerce) + 2 yrs work-ex
CAT attempt this year is ~80–85 percentile range.
Is this competitive enough or too borderline?

Brochure says all are strong, but students say BKFS is more niche and marketing is field-heavy.
Which program actually:

  • Gets better packages?
  • Has better faculty?
  • Is safest for someone wanting BFSI/analytics roles?

Seniors/experts — how much waitlist movement typically happens?
Does profile matter or is it just CAT/XAT percentile based movement?

Salary expectations after MBA (realistic mode ON)?

  • 20L+
  • 15–20L
  • 12–15L
  • 10–12L

Which MBA colleges can I realistically convert with CAT 71.9?

I am getting a mixed response. People on reddit saying it’s a lower tier 2 but when I connected with people on LinkedIn, they gave me a very positive reviews about college and placements. Can someone genuinely help me!!!???

Should i apply to TAPMI. Marketing, HRM and IB takes NMAT scores but is it possible with 219 ?.
I know core is not possible. Also through cat is also not possible for me as i scores low.

Why does TAPMI still feel BFSI-heavy despite branding as ‘general management’?
Is diversification actually happening?

CAT percentile in hand. Be honest — TAPMI vs GIM vs KJ Somaiya, who are you picking?

  • TAPMI
  • GIM
  • KJS
  • Depends on fees/loan
