The process of registration for this exam has to be done very carefully. It is always advisable to apply for the exam as soon as the notification is released. Candidates must fill the application form only by means of online mode. The application forms which are sent by candidates through any other mode will not be accepted. The application form can be done in two steps: Registration and Payment of fees.

The following are the steps to be filled to fill the application form:

• Get into the official website of Jharkhand Public Service Commission.
• Select the tab “Online application” and choose the link leading to the filling of application form for the state services.
• On the window that appears on the screen, select the link “ click here for new registration” and give all your details in the application form.
• It is important for candidates to verify that all the details before submitting the form as the date once entered cannot be changed at the later stages. In case of any mistakes, candidates have to send
• While giving the mobile number and e-mail ID, it is important to give those details which will be active at least for one year as these details will be the means of communication between the commission and the candidates. Moreover, the registration ID and the password will be sent to these SMS and e-mail.
• Once you have entered the basic and educational details, give the scanned copies of your photograph and signature as per the specifications given in the notification. Apart from photograph and signature, thumb impression and all other needed documents should be uploaded. It should be remembered that each scanned copy is of different specification.
• After submitting the application form and uploading the photograph and signature, the next step involves the payment of fees. The payment of the fees should be done according to the category in which the particular candidate belongs to.
• The payment of fees can be done only after one working day of the completion of application form.
• One can pay the fees both by online and offline mode. the payment through the online mode can be done by using various options such as credit card, debit card or online banking.
• Offline payments are done by taking the printout of challan of SBI. The offline payment can be done only at SBI branches
• Make sure to get the acknowledgement at the end of the application form. The application process will get completed only if every step is carefully followed.
• Once the application form is completed, candidates are advised to take the printout of the application form which can be used for the future reference.
