GRE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

According to ETS guidelines, there are no specific eligibility requirements for the GRE exam. Individuals from any age group or educational background can enroll for the GRE. However, it’s essential to recognize that the GRE is commonly requested for those seeking admission to master’s programs.

Additionally, candidates are required to provide their original passport as identification at the testing center, so possessing a valid passport is necessary to register for the GRE exam. Note: From July 1, 2021, applicants also have the choice to use their Aadhar Card for identification when registering for the GRE.
