SMIT Sikkim Admission Process
SMIT Sikkim grants admission on the basis of marks scored in competitive exams like JEE SMIT test or GATE. SMIT Offline test is conducted by the Sikkim Manipal University for granting admission to B.tech courses in Sikkim.
The institute offers courses in both B.tech and M.tech programmes. Diploma courses are also available on the undergraduate level where the candidate needs to appear for the entrance examination conducted by SMIT.
SMIT Sikkim Admission highlights
- For admission in B.tech courses, the candidate is selected on the basis of JEE or MU-OET or SMIT Offline Test followed by counselling.
- For admission in Lateral B.tech or Diploma B.tech courses, the candidates are selected on the basis of merit and marks in the qualifying examination and Entrance Test conducted by SMIT.
- For admission in M.tech courses, candidates are selected on the basis of GATE or Screening Test or Manipal University Entrance Test.

Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry or Computer Science or Biotechnology or Biology as one of the optional subjects and with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 45% in case of reserved category
