National Institute of Technology, Karnataka, is rated as one of the best engineering colleges in India. It was established in 1960. Under the NIT Act, the institute received recognition of Institute of National Importance in 2007. NIT Surathkal Admission Process
All the applicants need to get a certain score in JEE Main and GATE score for getting admitted to the undergraduate and postgraduate courses respectively. JEE is followed by JoSAA counselling. B.Tech. candidates are required to have at least 75% in 10+2 examination. B.Tech. candidates should have had Mathematics & Physics in 10+2 standard as compulsory subjects.
- B. Tech. candidates need to get a certain JEE Main score with successful JoSAA counselling followed by an interview.
- M. Tech. candidates need certain GATE score for admission.
- PhD candidates need to appear for Entrance examination and interview.
