The college gives education on the basis of specific cut off. For getting admission in undergraduate B.Tech and integrated B.Tech+M.Tech course the candidates needs to score above the JEE Main cutoff and for postgraduate Master of Technology course, GATE cutoff will be considered.
IIITDM Kancheepuram declares the cut off for both JEE Main and GATE after the declaration of results for both the exams. The cut off varies year to year depending upon some factors like the total number of available seats, difficulty of the question paper, the total number of students appeared in the exam.
