Undergraduate courses

The fee structure of most of these courses depends on the college conducting it. The total fee for the B.A programme is INR 9,600 whereas the total fee of the B.Com Honors and Bachelor of Science programme is INR 6,510 and INR 15,000 respectively.

All the applicants are admitted to the university courses based on the marks scored in the qualifying exam. Candidates need to score above a specified mark in these exams to get admitted to a particular class or discipline. Results and Cut-off
Burdwan University announce the cut-off list of its various courses and disciplines once the results of the corresponding entrance tests are out. The university prepares a cut-off list based on several factors like the number of candidates appearing for the qualifying exam, the highest marks obtained in the examination, the level of difficulty of the test and the number of vacant seats available in a particular department of the university.

The campus has a total of 19 departmental libraries. Burdwan University campus provides lodging provisions to both boys and girls.
