Burdwan University Scholarships
Burdwan University has an aim to help meritorious students who lack funding to continue their education. Those students are provided with financial help in the form of tuition fee waiver so that they can continue their higher education at the university.
Apart from that, rank holders in the qualifying examinations or competitive examinations, as well as rank holders in the university’s internal examinations, are also given relaxation for tuition fees. Besides, parents of the meritorious students are honoured at the university’s annual function.
Burdwan University students can opt for fee waiver schemes, which are provided by the State Government to the economically poor but meritorious students. The number of fee waiver schemes are limited so, the students who are not eligible for fee waiver schemes can also apply for educational loans.
Getting an education is not a problem these days. Even many nationalized banks offer loans at a reasonable rate of interest to the deserving and needy students, which can be repaid after the completion of the course.
